I have two orders I'm currently waiting on from Japan... one has an Arcadia VF-1J Miria in it. The other has an Evolution Toys Legioss. I feel like those two companies are working together right now to make sure I never get all my loot.

I like the Garland but I found Megazone just meh. It's kind of like Dougram for me. I love the mechs (so 80s) and I like the tone of Dougram but the story left me unsatisfied.

Didn't TREX do the 171? I was told it was the same guy that did Yamato's 17 and he struggled to make sure both were unique. This would lead me to think its TREX.

I had no problems with mine, it usually took some effort to pop them off.

I learned something new about Yamato 1/12 version 1 toys recently. The Parachute sack gift-set comes with exactly the same red shoulder toy that was available separately... for some reason I thought it had a different 'red' on the shoulder. I think it's because the box has a picture on the back where the red shoulder looks darker. In hindsight, it's pretty obvious that the gift-set would be the same since they sold at the same time.

Man I tried to do GERWALK on the display stand with the Lil Drakens... what a nightmare. That GERWALK adapter needs like a mm shaved off either side.

The old Matchbox toy is 1/18 scale. A 1/60 Spartan would be teeny tiny.. like 10cm tall in "battloid".

Did you put something under the rear landing gear to create more clearance? Mine is sitting on my desk right now in this same position and the bottom wings of the Lill Draken are flush with the desk... yours look like they have a CM of clearance.

AFA is a rating system for collectibles. So he has a super Valkyrie that's basically in as good a condition as you could find one back when it was first released. I'm sure there's a page somewhere that lists all the scores and what they mean... I think it's much more common for collectible cards than toys.

So the difficulty more recently being alluded to is the idea that Harmony Gold and everyone touching Robotech now will want to distance themselves from ALL the original Japanese works, not just Macross, so that they are no longer dependent on their relationship with Tatsunoko. So like when I said "Just replace the Zentraedi with the Invid" earlier that would be problematic as well. You'd have to replace the Zentraedi with an original new alien that was neither Zentraedi, Master, or Invid (though the Masters are pretty generic and the Zentraedi are just bigger versions of people which is a concept from stories before writing). I don't think there's going to be any problem with developing mecha or transformations but the story will take some consideration to keep it, at its core, Robotech while simultaneously removing it from 95% of what it was and replacing it with generic content (though some % of that 95% was already generic content).
