Yeah, I could see that, it is a bit of a simpler layout so it could all just work. The landing gear definitely don't have hinges so I think those being plug-ins is inevitable.
-
Okay, so I guess this is the start of the "Make a DX" wishlist. 1) Integrated Heat shield 2) Integrated Hands 3) Integrated Landing gear
-
At the very least, that canopy cover in battroid has to be a clip on part right? What's going on with the landing gear? It seems like this will be just as "perfect transformation" as the VF-1.

That heads picture wins creepiest post of the day. The gashapon faces are definitely a big improvement.

Well... guess I'll have to go by the Toynami booth after all. How long before a VF-1D weathered for the episode it gets pummeled in?

They killed Optimus Prime and upped the violence through the roof so people hated the 86 film. American critics were like "you made a movie for kids but people shouldn't take their kids to this." As adults we can appreciate it more. None of us are going to appreciate Bayformers more, ever.

CMs were dedicated completists... it's surprising we never got a Jim with Jeep.

This is definitely out of my realm of expertise. Looks cool though!

Since it's HMR, i wouldn't be surprised if there's a separate piece for making fighter mode look better.
-
Ah, the same thing that happened to my Roy from the look of it. I couldn't figure out a fix other than keeping it permanently in fighter mode... I now very gently work in the shoulder joints on all HMR purchases. You can imagine how much pressure gets put on that metal piece if the joint is frozen and you go to twist the arm... especially if you do it down at the fist and achieve a lot of leverage. So the culprit is either a faulty metal cast (like a bubble or something) or a frozen shoulder joint combined with leverage.

You can google Orguss to see the mechs... that's a pretty subjective question. I've never been a fan. I still think Bandai should do HMR Votoms but they probably won't because it would cannibalize their 1/20 model sales. Where's my VF-1D, VE-1, VT-1, Tomahawk, and Phalanx Bandai? Fingers crossed for more SDF Macross release news... though I'm happy with news of other Macross series as well.

So is this a November release? Does that mean PO in like a week?

Are the hips disconnected in GERWALK?
-
Preordered also... not the hugest fan of the show but I love the clunky mechs.

I was corrected on this earlier, they're not fold quartz, they're just sensors.

Solo: A Star Wars Story, in theaters May 25, 2018
jenius replied to Dobber's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
It sounds like they got the job because they wanted to make a comedy. Disney wanted a Western with some laughs but when it started shaping up like Blazing Saddles meets Wagons East they decided to switch things up. I had zero hope for this film and that remains unchanged despite my enjoyment of Rogue One. -
Excellent, thanks.

I wonder if there's a bright side to being unavailable to most of us. Maybe it will be able to live a little longer because it's hard to judge the ratings or maybe they'll have more freedom to experiment. On the flip side, being on a small paid network would allow the network to define exactly who the viewer is and force the producers to try to make the show cater to that subscriber base...
