  1. Wow they fixed the landing gear and you can mount that huge rifle in fightermode now with the gear down. And they got gerwalk right too. Now redo the 25 with the new fixes from this one Bandai!
  2. I have never had a problem with any of my Yamato toys or my Bandai toys at all. But i have had tons of problems with my transformers toys. MP Skywarp had cracks in a few places and pieces popping off everywhere. Classics Astrotrain fell apart when i opened the box and i don't mean simply ball joints popping off. Over half of my Animated toys have had problems and are made of really thin and crappy plastic. Nothing locks together what so ever. Takara is better at this but Hasbro doesn't understand the word quality control in my opinion.
  3. Meh its just another VF-1, there is already zillions of them out there and im more then happy with the new yamato 1/60 V2. And if this is 1/100 its super tiny anyway and with the added metal it may be much more expensive then its worth.
  4. The VF-17 is a macrossified F-117 and since Yamato is coming out with both M&M VF-22's and VF-11C's its possible they might doa 17 in the near future along with VF-19's.
  5. I only own one DX VF-25 and the toy itself is not that bad. Hate the landing gear and the chunky proportions and the waist. Gerwalk mode is also full of fail but in terms of quality its not that bad. I like the fightermode and battroid is alright once i got used to it. Its the armor and super parts that i really hate. It feels like the toy weren't designed for them at all. They fall off at the slightest touch and doesn't feel integrated into the rest. The DX VF-27 seems to fix alot of these problems though so maybe Bandai will go back and redo the 25 with the improvements from the 27.
  6. Never in Mac Plus, all the time in Mac7.
  7. WOW, they actually fixed that god awful extremely crappy gerwalk mode the DX VF-25 has. And i almost believed that Bandai forgot that VF's had gerwalk mode. Looks great, might be worth looking into but only after some good reviews.
  8. Looks like a pile of crap. Revoltech should just stick to making superposable action figures.
  9. Mine went through customs in like 2 seconds. But has been stuck at the distribution post center for like 4 days now. Thats the norm in my country though, takes a day to go half way across the globe but takes a week to go 50km. Yay for efficiency.
  10. The DX VF-27 looks better then the DX VF-25. I hope they have made the landing gear better too. Atleast the 27 doesn't have any superpacks or armorpacks that pops off all the time if you just look at it the wrong way. If they do a Grace Green version and it gets good reviews from some of the more critical members of this board i might get it. But so far my experience with the DX line has not been overly pleasant.
  11. Waiting for the VE-1 and a couple of display stands.
  12. VF-11C and Miria's VF-22S. Decided not to get Max's because the YF-21 is already blue and these are really expensive. That way i have a blue (YF-21), black (Gamlin VF-22) and red (Miria VF-22). And i need a VF-1 at some point because i have an extra set of TV superpacks.
  13. I wish the dome would sit a little bit higher in fightermode as it seems like it almost touches those side antennas. Does the dome spin freely ?
  14. Ugh, they made the VF-25 look like a stupid and ugly Gundam with that pack. Big PASS for me.

Not a VF but i also have a 1/60 Destroid Tomahawk and a Defender.
  16. I meant Non-Gundam mechas in the Gundam franchise. Like the Geara Doga for example. I know there is a HG but i want an MG version.
  17. They need to make more Non-Gundam MG's. Never been a fan of the gundam designs except maybe one or two. I find them too generic and boring looking. But there is a lot of unique and interesting non-gundam mecha's i'd love to see get the MG job.
  18. Not PT but maybe they could attach the heatshields on the bottom of the cockpit pod. Then you could simply remove it, flip it around and put it back in.
  19. I think its possible to make it PT, though it may not be 100% show accurate.
  20. I like all modes actually, but being an aviation fan the realistic and believable fightermodes did draw me in. Its what makes Macross unique compared to other mecha shows in my opinion. Other Mechas can transform too but they all look like they are turned upside down, bend the legs and put the shield over the head. Or they look like big blobs with wings. But it also depends on the macross series. Some series have cooler battroids and others have cooler fighters. Macross Zero for example is all about fighters for me (And it had a strong aviation focus too) and Macross Plus to a degree. M7 was all about cool battroids.
  21. Everyone are allowed to like or dislike whatever they want. Thats why Macross is so great, diversity. There is something for everyone, even though everything may not be for everyone. There is nothing wrong with you, you have your tastes and opinions and others have their's. What pisses me off though is when some people come in and say this sucks, i am right, those that disagree are wrong and my opinion is the only one that matters. I think if every macross show looked like the original people would complain too. Personally i prefer that each show has its own story and unique mecha designs that set them apart from the last, even though i may not like everything.
  22. Destroids should only play a supporting role, nothing more. The VF's is what makes macross unique. If not its just like every other mecha anime.
  23. The Destroids do look cool, but i don't really see what advantage a Destroid would have over a tank. The Destroid is slow and not very agile and is a huge target for the enemy to gun down. A fast tank designed with overtech would probably do the job just as good if not better.
  24. Fightermode doesn't look too bad to me and at 1/100 i can live without opening canopy and landing gear but at any larger scale it would be terrible. I love displaying my larger VF's with the gear down and canopy up with crew figures around making it look like its in the hangar. But then the Kai was shown in battroid about 90% of the time anyway. The price however is not nice, too much for such a small toy. I'll wait until early 2010 and see if Yamato is doing something in 1/60 scale and if not, i'll probably grab one of these as i like the design (except the mouth that is)
  25. Now all we need are VF-17's and VF-19's with superpacks and we are all set for Operation Stargazer.
