  1. Im thinking of getting a VT-1 and VE-1 in 1/60 now but maybe i should wait and see what yamato will bring out in this new 1/60 line. Though i doubt they will make the VT and VE again since they don't seem to be that popular....i hope they do though
  2. Yes mine springs out if i let go but when i push the nose between the gear doors i don't put any stress on them it seems, the doors are spread apart enough to not be affected atleast on mine.
  3. The nosecone won't stay in place all by itself, atleast not on my Ivanov and Nora. You need to hold it there while you transform the rest of the torso and then it will lock. You can fold it all the way back between the landing gear doors right ? Mine also won't stay there, i need to hold it there until i complete the rest and then its rock solid.
  4. Having seen the first episode of Macross F. Imagine a Yamato 1/60 VF-25 with full armor and display stand!!!! Now that would be one huge box!
  5. So the VF-171's belong to the military but the VF-25's is part of some private defence force ? I also noticed X-9 ghost like fighters with UN SPACY lettering on the side.
  6. Not....too.....shabby.... Visuals are awesome, music was awesome. That was one hell of a first episode. Oh and Yamato i will pay $300 for a 1/60 armored VF-25! HD version is almost finished downloading, need to watch it again in HD....
  7. I already got a ton of 1/48's so im only getting the versions that don't come out in 1/48 like Vf-1D, VT-1, VE-1, TV MAX VF-1A and so on. I take it this will have removable intake covers like its bigger brother ? I wonder if it will come with a strap for the gunpod, it wasn't shown in the picture but it can still come with one. The hands look fantastic but the nose is a bit too short in fighter mode. Head also looks a bit too large but so did the 1/48. And yeah the boxes will still be huge and it probably won't be that much cheaper then a 1/48....
  8. These new 1/60 vf-1's should come with the display stand the SV-51 came with. They also should be designed so they can also be display in battroid mode on that stand. I wouldn't mind paying alittle more for a VF-1, Fast Packs and Display stand all in one package.
  9. I have so many 1/48's i don't want to get the same ones in 1/60. But i would get a VF-1D, VT-1 and VE-1 made in this new way.
  10. Looks like it will be a Macross 7 christmas for me. VF-17S, VF-19S and a VF-11 with fast packs.
  11. The weapon attachments on my Nora is almost too tight, almost impossible to get the weapons on. But when they are finally on its no way they can fall off again. The wings don't sag anymore either and i can display them like in the photos in the abovepost with no problem. Rear left landing gear bay door (viewed from the back) flops and won't close properly though but the rest is flawless. I hope we get a 2nd edition Ivanov with tighter weapon attachments and less saggy wings.
  12. Does this mean we won't be getting a large scale transformable VF-11 from Yamato ?
  13. Thanks, both the blue and the orange supernova 19 look great. It would be nice to get a different fastpack set if they would make the VF-19A, something like the FP's for the 19S: Also a stealth YF-19 would be nice
  14. I have never seen these, anyone got any links to the supernova or vf-x ravens colored 19 ?
  15. Hi there, i don't post here so often but i have been here for a long time getting the latest news on macross products and this site has been very helpful so far. Anyway i can get a Vf-1a low vis 2 pretty cheap but i have a question about the stickers that comes with it. Does it come with those Shark's teeth stickers i have seen on some models ? I really love those and they fit perfectly on that valk. Or does it just come with the regular stickers like the others do ? If they come with Shark's teeth stickers does anyone have any good pics of their valks with those on so i can have a good look at them before i make up my mind ? I have enough vf-1's really but the low vis 2 with shark's teeth on the front would stand out from the rest and be an exception in my case. Thanks
  16. Can you attach the gun on the side of the leg in battroid mode like Ivanov did in the show ? For those who pre-ordered from toy-wave i got an email from there saying they will ship the SV-51 early next week.
  17. When is the release date on the SV-51 ? Is it late june or july ?
  18. Graham do you know when Yamato's 1/12 scale Red Sholder Custom Scopedog with full weapons will be released ? Also will the stand alone ghost-booster set be able to fit on the 0S too and not just the 0A ? And does it come with all the weapons ?
  19. Is it best to use gloss clearcoat or flat clearcoat on this model ?
  20. Hi, im relatively new to this , i have made a few models before but not cared that much about their detail. Now i am working on a hasegawa VF-0S and i was wondering if i could get some tips on what order i should do the following. ClearCoat Panel wash using charcoal Applying Decals This is the order i was going to try: Painting, panel wash, ClearCoat and then apply decals Is this the correct order or should i do the clearcoat before washing ? Also is MicroSol and MicroSet from microscale good decal setting solutions and would i require any others also ?
  21. Hi im new to this forum. I have two yamato 1/48 valkyries, vf-1S Roy and vf-1A Hikaru. The only thing i don't like about them is the hands. I have seen the hands on a TV- style 1/48 vf-1J Hikaru and they are different. They look fatter, but also a bit more realistic then the hands on my two dyrl 1/48's I was wondering if i might be able to get two pair of TV- style hands for my 1/48 valkyries. Does anybody know where i might get a hold of these or does someone sell them ? Thank you for your time
