  1. Only have the VF-1D so far and one TV FastPack set and one DYRL. Are planning on getting the following though: VF-1D (Virgin road) VT-1 VE-1 VF-1A (CF) VF-1J (Mirya)
  2. Anyone having problems with the feet ? Mine wants to fall backwards when standing up because there seems to be a spring or something in the feet that prevents it from standing level and upright. The front part of the feet wants to automatically push down, making it fall backwards. Any trick to this ?
  3. I think having Yamato make a VF-25 in the future would be a good thing because then you have a real choice. The DX because its more sturdy and playable or the Yamato because its more accurate and detailed. That would make alot more people happy since there would be something for everyone.
  4. Its all a matter of taste and opinion regarding the DX. No right or wrong. It all depends on what you want from a toy/display piece.
  5. Finally got the hang of the landing gear. Damn that was hard, far harder and more difficult then the heatshield. Heatshield came out and locked under 5 secs. No problem. The tailfins are alittle small but other then that it is a great and brilliant engineered toy. Flipping between modes are easy and it all locks solid in place. Heatshield is fine. And for those with problems still, try to use the button under to push up the cockpit tightly under the heatshield pieces and that will further help the locking process. Great next to the YF-21, though both puts the poor YF-19 to shame. Yamato should really go back and remake the 19 with the same quality as the other 2. Bring on the Ravens and the 11C
  6. How do i get the damn rear landing gear out ? I have been trying for an hour but i can't get them out. If i try to pry them out the rubber wheel just comes off.
  7. I know the battroid mode is about the same height as the VF-1. But what about fightermode. Is it longer ?
  8. Yamato are no more greedy then other toymakers who sell high-end toys for the collectors market. I mean what about Bandai ? The DX VF-25 costs just as much as a similar sized yamato and Bandai is a much bigger company with alot more money in their pockets and resources. Are they greedy for charging so much for the DX ? What about Takara and their masterpiece line of transformers ? The new Grimlock is $130 not including shipping and he's the size of a standard leaderclass transformer priced at $50. If Yamato is greedy so is Bandai, Takara and every other company making similar toys.
  9. In terms of quality both the YF-21 and VF-11 are superior toys. I have the Fastpack edition of the 19 and it is fine in terms of crooked gunpod and landing gear and shoulders, but the worst issue is still the fact that it can't lock the chest properly in battroid mode which sucks. Was the 19 the first 1/60 non VF-1 that Yamato did or was that the VF-0 ? I guess they were still experimenting back then, which is why i would love Yamato to go back and re-engineer the YF-19 so that it has the same quality level as the 21 and 11.
  10. $95 ? Thats way overpriced for what you get with these sets.
  11. Whats the release date for the VT-1 ? June or July ?
  12. I wonder if the VF-11 can hold the YF-21 in Gerwalk mode.
  13. All in 1/60: VF-17D VF-19S VF-171 (With optional elintfin and radome) VF-0D Reactive Armor for VF-0 Monster (Both original and M Zero versions) VF-25 (More accurate and better looking ones then the ones we have now) Accesory pack for Yamato M Plus VF's including Heavy weapon cluster, rocketboosters and possible Ghost X-9
  14. Yeah i see it now, its just a repainted Isamu.
  15. The pilot in the upper right corner, is that Gamlin ?
  16. It wouldn't be possibly to create a PT heatshield for the 22 canopy anyway. Only solution would be to include a few small parts you attach or snap on, but then there is nothing to attach to so it would end up being like the 1/72 VF-11 heatshield.
  17. Have any of you who have it tried to use a little force when pushing up the lower heatshield part and see if you hear a click or something like it ? Kinda sucks if it turns out to be no way to lock it in place. Also a pic request, could any of you snap off a pic of the fightermode side profile without FP's ? That way i can see how big the tailfins really are. Is it bigger then the 1/60 VF-1 or about the same size ?
  18. So the heat shield cannot be locked properly in Battroid mode ?
  19. If Yamato does indeed have or get the M7 license then ofcourse they will make the VF-19 and all the variations. Yes it would most likely be about 80-90% new mold but its the star VF of M7 so it would be stupid not to. Besides once you have the VF-19 down you can make alot of repaints and minor variations. VF-19 Fire Valkyrie VF-19P (Standard and Whaleblood red) And with re-tooled wings: VF-19S (Emerald Force and Test Flight colors) VF-19F Thats 6 VF variations based on the same basic mold with a few changes. Other then the VF-1 no other VF has that many official versions that have actually appeared in a show i think.
  20. So did Yamato change the logo color to grey ? Or is it still red ?
  21. Good point, the ejection pod wasn't introduced before we saw the VF-11C in M7. There was no need for Yamato to include it since it had nothing to do with M plus but yet they did. Maybe to be on the safe side should they get the rights to make a 11C. If they do make the VF-11C i hope it comes with two sets of Fast packs, normal and atmospheric.
  22. For those who have the TV Max 1A, could you post some pics of it with FastPacks on in fighter mode ? Hopefully with TV fastpacks.
  23. It might be possible that Yamato just cut a deal for the VF-22S only. So don't be disappointed if this just turns out to be a one time thing only. I doubt Bandai is gonna let the VF-19 go that easily its still a popular vf. However if Yamato has the Dynamite 7 license they might do the VF-19P, and if they do i might pick up the Whaleblood red repaint version.
  24. Man that sucks that the 22 cannot store the gunpods internally, that was one of the things i really liked about the 22 and it wouldn't be THAT hard to make on a toy, just make the bellyplates alittle deeper so they cover the gunpods completely. Oh well i'll still get it i guess.
