Thats how i feel too. Im more of a display oriented collector and don't "play" so much with them so 100% solid isn't a must for me, i rather have near perfect looks in my own opinion.
I have never had a single one of my 10 Yamatos break or damage but i can understand people who do have problems its not pleasant on a $150-200 toy.
I will eventually get a DX, i'll just wait a while and see if Bandai makes some refinements and just pick the version thats been perfected the most in the looks department.
Make it a little slimmer overal, have the legs sit higher in fightermode, redo the hip placement and give it better and longer landing gear ( I don't care if they have to be detached in order to do that) and its a done deal for me. And perhaps a few magnets on the armor pieces that are too loose.
