    Graham's Sig

    Hopefully a nightmare before christmas
  2. I can see M&M VF-22's and VF-11C as possible versions in the future. 19 and 17 less likely since Bandai already are interested in 1/100 versions of these.
  3. The basic VF-11C would need no retooling just a repaint. It does need a new gunpod and slightly different fastpack boosters though. Less retooling then a VF-22 thats for sure. Bandai might want to redo their original M7 toys with modern technology at some point though and that means the VF-19 and VF-17 variants are offline to Yamato. They never made the VF-22 or the VF-11 though so they might not care for those.
  4. Could be that Yamato somehow cut a deal so that they could make the VF-22 since they already had the YF-21 which means 90% of the VF-22 were already done and Bandai had no interest in spending money to make a entire new mold. The VF-17 is another story. Bandai may want to keep that since the VF-171 in frontier is a version of the VF-17.
  5. Any chance you could post a scan of the accessory sets ? I'd love to see them in color.
  6. Why couldn't the 22 come with the same stand as the 21 does ? Anybody know if it comes with correctly colored attachments for the fold booster atleast ?
  7. Graham do you know anything about how the bellyplates on the VF-22 will store the gunpods ? Will they be accurately stored internally ?
  8. Im pretty sure the unnamed Valk is the VF-17. VF-0D seems most likely since its the easiest and cheapest to make. The VF-17 featured heavily in M7 and Yamato has already started with a Dynamite 7 VF-22 so. I guess the VF-4 is a bit to obscure but then they did make the VB-6.....
  9. A VF-19 (Blazer or Fire) is alot more work to make then a VF-22 since its just a couple of things different from the 21, but we can always hope. Im wondering, since yamato is doing the 22 from Dynamite, might we see some commercial Vf-1's and whale hunter customs ? VF-1's with harpoons FTW
  10. I prefer the conventional cockpit and less covered canopy of the VF-22 and i think the internally mounted gunpods are cool. But i don't like the red tinted glass so much. Either head is fine by me though. I like the M&M colors better then Gamlin's but still its the first VF-22 so its must buy for me and finally Gamlin gets some love too.
  11. Maybe Yamato is just testing the waters with VF-22 to see how much interest it sparks and how well it sells. Maybe Yamato gets the rights to the Frontier Movie ........oh well i can dream
  12. Maybe they just open up and you can place the gunpod into it and then close ? They need to be deeper aswell if they are gonna hold the gunpods inside. And it should really be dark green...unless its not Gamlin's VF just something made to look very similar.
  13. Bandai probably still have the M7 license, but not Dynamite 7.
  14. Gamlin's VF-22 WOOHOOOO! I wonder if they changed the bellyplates and you can now mount the gunpods internally. So Yamato can make Dynamite 7 but not regular M7 perhaps ? Perhaps a VF-19P then for Basara. Any word on the release date or is it too early ?
  15. Just got the VF-1D, it looks great. Now to save up for the VT-1 and VE-1 and im all set for 2-seaters......and virgin road ofcourse. And a brownie or two. .....and Max TV 1A ...and oh crap my wallet
  16. Low vis YF-21. Or how about a skull leader YF-21 ? YF-19 angelbirds..think that would look cool too.
  17. Just ordered one myself. One thing i love about this new VF-11 is that you can flip on the heatshield in fightermode too. Too bad Yamato can't do Mac 7, the white 11C sure is a looker.
  18. Thats how i feel too. Im more of a display oriented collector and don't "play" so much with them so 100% solid isn't a must for me, i rather have near perfect looks in my own opinion. I have never had a single one of my 10 Yamatos break or damage but i can understand people who do have problems its not pleasant on a $150-200 toy. I will eventually get a DX, i'll just wait a while and see if Bandai makes some refinements and just pick the version thats been perfected the most in the looks department. Make it a little slimmer overal, have the legs sit higher in fightermode, redo the hip placement and give it better and longer landing gear ( I don't care if they have to be detached in order to do that) and its a done deal for me. And perhaps a few magnets on the armor pieces that are too loose.
  19. If the VF-4 is out of the question the then they really should make the VF-17. Afterall they did make the VB-6 so why not more from the line....because other then the VF-0D and reactive armor what other options does Yamato have ? They can't just keep cranking out VF-1's for eternity either.
  20. Damn that miscolor is ugly. It really ruins the look of the toy and this is the only one i wanted to purchase...
  21. A question for those who have the RVF-25 Luca kit. I know the VF comes with both standard stickers and waterslide decals, but what about the ghosts ? From what i can see it looks like the ghosts only comes with waterslide decals and not standard stickers. Is this true or does it come with stickers too ? Since im not that good of a modeller and the model needs so much decals i usually like to use stickers.
  22. Ah thats what i get for not bothering to check the website.
  23. So the VF-25G is out now but not the RVF-25 ? Aren't both supposed to be released at the same time ? Or is the RVF-25 pushed back for release later or next month ?
  24. The phalanx looks great, i also hope they do the blue version. And if Yamato can make a 2 feet long SDF-1 they sure can make a 1/60 monster too.
