    Is it just because of that Frontier/SMS-stand and the FP-boosters that the fighter-mode is wtf gappy? It should click together securely better than that, regardless of the FP-booster's weight and/or SMS-stand plug.

    Or maybe Bandai just didn't want the 1/60 VF-1 license at all. They could've bought Yamato's licenses like they did with Takatoku's old licenses when Takatoku folded.

    Other than possibly a bit darker golden yellow (camera/lighting trick), don't really spot any obvious difference from the original run. Maybe just a re-release? Maybe it'll now come with that framed picture now?

    Other regular import stores still have their PO open for the 0D.

    HLJ usually announces a BF sale on certain items that hasn't moved at all from their inventory since item's release-date. Other stores like Ami, not really. Don't think I've seen any significant BF sales other than HLJ's. It's just a regular day for those other stores. Since there hasn't been any significant Macross toys that hasn't moved since Yamato went out of business, hlj will prolly offer the Arcadia Tux Valk and their usual glut of old 1/72 or 1/100 bandai kits during BF, as well as those old Yamato GNU stuff. Maybe you'll get lucky and spot a DX Chogokin Frontier valk on their BF offering. Who knows...

    hlj and arcadia are possibly specifically keeping the 0D off the potential BF stuff. They prolly will re-open the PO after BF or after the holiday season...

    This ain't really Macross-related, but hey! Only a few overseas retailers offer Black Friday sales targeted for US-based consumers. You'll just have to personally hunt down which ones offer them, when they offer them, and how much discounts you get. Like stores here in the US, the discounts and discounted products vary widely from overseas stores that somehow offer them.

    Well, iirc, Hasbro bought all of Gobots license and properties some years ago or something. I think they even sold Leader-1 as a mini in one or two of their TF lines. Doesn't really surprise me anymore that Hasbro's TFs have been Gobot-ish ever since. :shrugs:
