  1. Remains to be seen, but HLJ only gave out a measly 5% discount on the upcoming 40th-anniversary soul of chogokins...
  2. pics from taghobby... http://www.taghobby.com/1-0/1-1/arcadia-2015年發售-160-完全變形-『macross-zero』vf-0d/
  3. Not sure if this is true, but this was just posted at toysdaily... http://toysdaily.com/discuz/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=222686&page=4#pid7347465 edit: at taghobby, too... http://www.taghobby.com/1-0/1-1/arcadia-2015%E5%B9%B4%E7%99%BC%E5%94%AE-160-%E5%AE%8C%E5%85%A8%E8%AE%8A%E5%BD%A2-%E3%80%8Emacross-zero%E3%80%8Fvf-0d/
  4. Sure. How about a mini-review? Keep in mind that these three are the only IMs I currently have. I don't have the older Mk-6 or Warmachine. That said, they are different suits and they have their own quirks, which cancels out each other's quirks. Articulations and stuff are pretty much the same between the shf and the figma. The proportions are nice on both lines. Bandai seemed to have cheaped out on the gimmicks as the SHF Mk-42 has the wrist-guards always popping-out, and the Iron Patriot's shoulder-weapon likes to be static only since it likes to disengage when articulating it. The boxes for these are typical Bandai bootleg-friendly-lookalike generic. As with other figuarts, it does not include any stand. (Only the Sailor Moon figuarts seem to include stands as regular box-accessories). The SHF Mk-42 ankle-joints are tight, so be aware when freestanding it the first time. Iron Patriot's joints are alot smoother out of the box, in contrast. Also, Mk-42 seems to have some loose rattling with the underarm-joint's inner-cover/frame or something. Nothing major, but just a bit annoying. Despite all those quirks, Mk-42 is excellent. Iron Patriot even more so. Figma only has the Mk-VII and is very shiny! It's about $10-$20 more than either of the SHF. I think it has more hands (two non-wrist-articulated pairs to use/insert the effects and three pairs for regular/non-effects). Comes in a bigger and classier box that includes the usual figma-stand and baggie. Joints are as excellent and smooth as Iron Patriot. As you can see, it's a bit taller than the SHF. Both the SHF feels like it's made of sturdier plastic to withstand abuse. The figma's plastic feels a bit softer, but seems quite sturdy to withstand abuse, too. I'm not sure what type of materials these two lines uses since they really feel different from each other. Lastly, GSC pulled a bandai and made the Full Spec version a shop-exclusive. The nice extras on the Full-Spec are less than 1000y on its own, but GSC is being a dick about not offering it at all outside the shop-exclusive Full Spec. I would say among the three, I suggest to get the Iron Patriot. The figma is nice and shiny, but rather incomplete. On its own, the figma is really nice. Just that GSC withholding the Full-Spec extras is very irritating to me. The Mk-42 is nice, but I'm not really fond of the color since I like IM more red than gold. The solid-plastic sofa comes as a first-press bonus. Not really essential.
  5. iron man, iron man. does whatever iron ca... wait, what? Figma Mk-VII with the SHFiguarts...

  9. Btw, forgot to mention that the Puppet Master is back to male-vocal again in the japanese-dub of the new 25th-anniversary BD release. Not sure if that has been known in this thread, yet.
  10. ok, here we go... album-page: http://imgur.com/a/mSruH The pics are titled, but to guide you: *GiTS-2.0-BD (left or top) vs GiTS-25th-Anniv-BD (right or bottom)* (GiTS-2.0-bd fills my tv whole, whereas GiTS-25th-BD does not fill the tv and has a little bit of letterboxing): vs from direct-snapshots, GiTS-2.0 BD is full, whereas GiTS-25th-anniv BD is window-boxed: vs vs Color-wise, it's a bit of a toss-up to me, so it's up to your own eyes...
  11. Are you sure that it was window-boxed? I don't recall my recent 25th-anniversary blu-ray being window-boxed when I watched it the other night. Could be either my player and/or my tv's over-scanning it or something to fill up the screen. (both LG brand) I need to double-check it later. I'll check the other BD version (the old 2.0 editiion) if that was ever window-boxed, which I believe it was. As such, I can say the video on the 25th-anniv edition is mostly soft, but not terribly so. edit: I misremembered which was which. Check out my snaps in my later post.
  12. heads up! 1/1000 Nazca now listed at hlj: http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN994377/Sci prolly will show up at other regular online import-shops soon...
  13. I think (rather, hope) antibiotictab just means only SBY stuff on the posted video. It'll be a damn tragic crime against humanity for Yurisha to be a show-exclusive figure...
  14. Arcee got some serious back! Literally... /facepalm
  15. No updates. They haven't even bother painting the prototype at the latest hobby show they're displaying it: http://www.taghobby.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/R030.jpg
  16. This is just calling out to Mike... Warning! The rest of the pics on the link are definitely Not Safe For Workhttp://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-008218
  17. That's a very nice Yurisha! Hope MH colors her well.
  18. That blue on that 0D still sucks.
  19. yet-another-Rias and her pole... http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-008102 Actually not that bad. Does Griffon ever have an R-LINE of her?
  20. So after some simple panel-lining and gluing the missiles and tanks... Kodai's A1 looks a bit better now, I reckon. At least, to me. Not gonna bother with the rest of the water-slide decals and dunno if/when I'll even paint the pilot. I'll prolly try panel-wash technique on Rei's A2 when I get time.
  21. moar MP-20 Wheeljack video-reviews! Peaugh's review benzscairy's review RocketPunchArmy's review diecast's review enjoy!
  22. Current BDs received today. Awesome. Especially Arise-3...
  23. Yeah. I welcome these upcoming RGs. It will automatically be structurally better than the old HGs. It will also be better proportioned than the girly-waist Robot Damashii's. And cheaper, too.
