So it seems that everything that debuted as protoypes for the HMR line are coming to fruition. So when does Bandai begin releasing the VF-0 Phoenix and SV-51. Looks like Arcadia is being forced out. Really looking forward to this VF-4 and now I can pair it up with my custom.

It’s not supposed to be bright white. It has a slight off white tone. Everything about this screams Yamato’s engineering, but in a better and smaller package! I can’t wait for the repaints! Good job Bandai, you’ve done well.

Just by looking at that picture, how soon after the armour is placed that you will begin to see the stress marks on joints and such. That looks extremely heavy. I hope Bandai considered the weight factor when this was designed.

1/32 F-14 Tomcat magazine subscription to build model?
nightmareB4macross replied to kyekye's topic in Model kits
Wow!!! That is incredible! -
That might be possible, but then again a bit of a stretch. I think Kakizaki would be next since they only have to sculpt the head and slap it on Hikaru’s body like they did with Roy and possibly Max. After seeing Roy in the cockpit I am not too sure I want it anymore. But I would definitely buy theposable figures should they all be released seperately and are close to their proper scaled dimensions.

Why is there so much nonsensical discussion of cars in this thread? Vroom that conversation on out of here. It is completely off topic. We all come here for updates and to speculate on the 1/48 VF-1J DX subsequent releases. Let’s remain courteous and adhere to topic discussion. Thank you.

Can anyone help identify these toys?

These look like the transformers at SirToys.com. My guess is these are just generic figures. -

That 0A must have nine lives. Good to hear it worked out. -
Such a lovely cell. I am not a collector, but I do like looking at these. Hopefully more collectors will bring forth their collections and share more frequently.

Just to add to the genrousity and greatness of the collaborative people on these boards. I have to say, Daisuke Fukuda did an incredible job sculpting the Beta.

Custom Bandai/Matchbox 1/3000 SDF-1 Macross vintage
nightmareB4macross replied to Ranka-Killer's topic in The Workshop!
The Bandai is the better and much cheaper option. The only reason I used a Takatoku is because I still have the fighters and wanted to keep it as a customized toy similar to what Takatoku would do when promoting their macross toys. -

Try asking one of our resident 3D modelers to produce a printable file. The OA would then still be transformable. -

Take pictures to better understand what is happening and what possible solutions people could offer up. -
Sorry for your losses. I hope you and your family are all well.

That Zero looks sooooo uncomfortable. -
Hopefully all the armor, super and strike sets are made. given that the leg fins seem to fold there that right there is a strong indicator that they have planned for it.

I just hope this stand will support a GBP armour with VF.

That figure of OP is one I have been debating since it’s debut. I’m not sure if I want this or not. It will throw off my collection of MP figs. If they released Mega to go with it. I would then buy into this sized figure.

That’s is awesome. Where on earth did you find this?

Wet sanding would be the best option when putting on too much paint. Plus it helps release some of the trapped paint on your tools. You might also want a steel bristle brush to remove residual paint from you tools.

He just reconstructed the busted hip on his VF-19Advance. Let him enjoy it as is for a while.

I never looked at it that way. Good eye, but no it’s not a Macross kite. It’s a boat from a Where the Wild Things Are party.

I do. I think I will display a set of 1/48s like this at next year’s SDCon. Just have to figure out which one I want to use. With packs or without. Hmm.
