  1. Wasn’t the Velcro on the flap lid an indicator of the first run?
  2. Awesome display! Happy Halloween!
  3. It says limited edition but would it still include the stand. There are no pictures or mentioning of it.
  4. You’re shots are flawless, unfortunately they show all the micro gaps throughout. One day Bandai will be productions/manufacture perfect and they will be in alignment with your photographic skills.
  5. Ok so now I have to do this display at home. As parts and valkyries are released I can add them to the wall. It looks like outlines on the tool wall of a garage. Makes it’s it easier to keep track of your tools (valkyries and parts).
  6. I’m just saying the size for production is really not too far off. Making a static model would be a strong possibility at this scale. If the parts breakdown would be similar to this kit then it’s totally doable.
  7. Blasphemy. This is Macross we need more armor and more missiles and more guns and hide the Siegfried even more. More, more, more. ;P
  8. The Yamacadia flexes in similar fashion. You have to admit though it still looks pretty darn good overall.
  9. That VF-11 is done so well I am in complete agreement with your statement. Simply one of Yamato’s best! The only thing it needed was double jointed elbows and locking wings for Battroid mode.
  10. Now this is interesting. I wonder if the missiles will still detach?
  11. Look at picture closely. The guns are attached to the shoulders.
  12. This one already exists 19.5 inches approximately 50cm, and comes in 5 parts (IIRC).
  13. It might just be but me I am sensing a 66.6cm long Nuptiet Vergnitzs. The ship could be sold in one box and broken down into about 4 or 5 parts.
  14. So it seems that everything that debuted as protoypes for the HMR line are coming to fruition. So when does Bandai begin releasing the VF-0 Phoenix and SV-51. Looks like Arcadia is being forced out. Really looking forward to this VF-4 and now I can pair it up with my custom.
  15. It’s not supposed to be bright white. It has a slight off white tone. Everything about this screams Yamato’s engineering, but in a better and smaller package! I can’t wait for the repaints! Good job Bandai, you’ve done well.
  16. Just by looking at that picture, how soon after the armour is placed that you will begin to see the stress marks on joints and such. That looks extremely heavy. I hope Bandai considered the weight factor when this was designed.
  17. Wow!!! That is incredible!
  18. That might be possible, but then again a bit of a stretch. I think Kakizaki would be next since they only have to sculpt the head and slap it on Hikaru’s body like they did with Roy and possibly Max. After seeing Roy in the cockpit I am not too sure I want it anymore. But I would definitely buy theposable figures should they all be released seperately and are close to their proper scaled dimensions.
  19. Why is there so much nonsensical discussion of cars in this thread? Vroom that conversation on out of here. It is completely off topic. We all come here for updates and to speculate on the 1/48 VF-1J DX subsequent releases. Let’s remain courteous and adhere to topic discussion. Thank you.
  20. These look like the transformers at SirToys.com. My guess is these are just generic figures.
  21. That 0A must have nine lives. Good to hear it worked out.
  22. Such a lovely cell. I am not a collector, but I do like looking at these. Hopefully more collectors will bring forth their collections and share more frequently.
  23. Just to add to the genrousity and greatness of the collaborative people on these boards. I have to say, Daisuke Fukuda did an incredible job sculpting the Beta.
  24. The Bandai is the better and much cheaper option. The only reason I used a Takatoku is because I still have the fighters and wanted to keep it as a customized toy similar to what Takatoku would do when promoting their macross toys.
