  1. Nice acquisition. That book is so spectacular that I probably look inside it maybe once a week. The details and storyboard pictures are amazing! Congratulations!
  2. Will they change the tampgraphic print and box to say 36th Anniversary or just slap a sticker on it? No matter how you Add it up. It is waaaaayyy late. From and including: Sunday, October 3, 1982 To and including: Thursday, January 31, 2019 Result: 13,270 days It is 13,270 days from the start date to the end date, end date included. Or 36 years, 3 months, 29 days including the end date. Or 435 months, 29 days including the end date. Alternative time units 13,270 days can be converted to one of these units: 1,146,528,000 seconds 19,108,800 minutes 318,480 hours 13,270 days 1895 weeks and 5 days Come on Arcadia , you can do it!
  3. Nice review. Can’ t wait to have mine in hand and enjoy this as much ch as everyone else.
  4. Finally received notice from HLJ that my DX is on it’s way. I got worried thinking they were going to repeat the whole 31A incident. What a relief.
  5. Looking good Nyankodevice. Cant’t wait to see it completed. Is it just me or does the Skull and Crossbone logo appear small on the side of the booster?
  6. As long as they don’t look like the Super 7 mini versions that came out. Those were terrible.
  7. Here’s a picture I came across on FB. DX with 1/48 Yamato GBP.
  8. That pretty close to the original color. The trend is brighter and whiter as most valkyries are nowadays. This figure is straight out of the box. Only the 1/48 M&Ms had true white.
  9. Great update. Thank you.
  10. Cool paint scheme. Can’t wait to see transformed.
  11. Very nice. What color did I you use?
  12. Is this vaporware?
  13. Did this ever get produced? Also, if you open the first link of this thread you will see the Yamato Zentradi Uniform. Is this going to be reproduced as well?
  14. I hope you guys are both right. If this release is of Kai then I am totally for it. I was never too crazy about the price tag. All Bandai did was splash some black steaks over the original paint scheme, attach a new emblem, and a few armaments.
  15. Have there been any updates regarding this item?
  16. Thanks for pictures. That last frame with DX Hikaru in the pilot seat of 1/60 is what I always pictured if Roy was scaled accordingly. That guy was tall!
  17. Nice pics treatment. Would you mind placing the DX pilot alongside the 1/48 and the 1/60 counterparts.
  18. Thanks kyekye. I will definitely be doing the same.
  19. I think you have been a bit exuberant in anticipation of your upcoming DX. Just relax and take it slow. You’ll definitely enjoy it slow. Then once you get used to you new DX you can manhandle it to your hearts content.
  20. I still enjoy all my 1/48s. They have always been a favorite of mine to custom. The unique paint schemes provided by Yamato seemed so sumptuous during their time. Also, these were the closest to the UD model kit by Tanmen. I simply could not get enough of these. To this day I still collect and customize these and enjoy the process. Still my all time favorites, yet the new DX is really close and only time will tell if it will topple the original fully transforming 1/48 by Yamato.
  21. I don’t believe so. That might only be a prototype.
  22. This is the way of MW. We’re never happy with what we got. But that’s what I love about this place. It give us something to gripe about in unison. ;P
  23. Quick note: Macross SDFM, EP27, Love Drifts Away.
  24. The funny thing about this that the fins always folded the wrong way. The should fould out towards the side of the leg and not towards over the landing gear doors. Yamacadai never did this right. rdrunner, the legs are shown in use when Hikaru enters the atmosphere to rescue Misa. Even in the animation the legs fold out and not in. eggy99, It’s funny but true. But that is the way of MW.
