In my experience, nah. If they ever did charge extra, it was only a few bucks more.

I plan on painting the colored area of the Monsters and Destroids and then paint on a new number. I also want to make colored Destroid variants. I remember the old die cast 1/144 Destroids in different colors. Anyone have pics of those? I still have a blue and grey Phalanx. I might make a red Spartan.

Thanks for posting this video seti88. This would probably work for the VF-31F no3Ljm. I'll look into trying this for my HMR customs. Before I used Goo Gone to remove the red paint off of the VF-1J Hikaru but it took forever.

I usually save quite a bit on regular orders with NY. It's only TWE that I don't save as much. I do save money on shipping and overall cost on all types of orders with them though.
