    I'm hearing this all Takara, so it should show up on Japanese sites. That would make sense on why Lunar didn't know about it as most of his contacts are in China.

    Anybody tried to order these lately? I went to buy a set of 3 and the page timed out when I sent my purchase through. I saw on their social media that they are having problems with international orders... but I thought they were in the states? Their facebook says to email them orders, but it doesn't provide an email.

    Why glue it back? It's just going to break apart again in another place when you move it. It's cheap plastic all the way around.

    Sometimes people will slip things past them. When they buy a used toy, it's not like they can transform it and check every detail at the counter. That would take hours. I bought some super parts once that had a loose thruster. I'm sure the seller didn't mention it, and they didn't know. Considering he probably only got $20 or 30 bucks for it... BTW, These bundles are safe: I had the Kaki and it was fine. They came out in 2010 or so.

    Who confirmed it as a Hasbro Asia release? If so it's probably the same run as the AE grimlock. They probably did both releases at the same time, and slapped them in different boxes. I think the Takara Japan market toys just have a higher level of quality control, as they are inspected before they come to Japan. Kind of like with Bandai when they inspect SOC releases. I don't think any toys are made in Japan anymore, other than maybe some model kits for Gundam.

    I think its a flame cover for the sword, not a paint job. Besides, all the coloring and paint apps for King is property of Ehobby. Can't reprint it without their permission. It seems to be something you actually put on the sword.

    Glad I picked up an old run MISB Takara Grimlock for $190 2 weeks ago. If this is the same batch as the AE exclusive the legs and arms were really floppy. I asked Lunar about it and he had no idea about this version, his sources told them they were locking away the mold. So this must be a whole nother pressing. I told him to double check his sources

    I agree. Rinkya sucks. I still use their service for searches! haha But I jumped ship to a smaller proxy a few months back. Fees are insane, and their policies are bullshit.

    I think its just that all of Macross collecting is in a soft market right now. Some people who went nuts in the great inflation of early '13 are selling some stuff back, and people who missed the inflation curve are cashing in late. Plus the fact that Arcadia is going full steam ahead. It's a perfect storm. Prices are pretty good. Pretty, pretty, pretty good. Not sure why Bandai's stuff is so hard to sell right now, or why you can find it so relatively cheap in the right places. I assume it's just over saturation and the recent renewal releases being so well distributed. It's a good time to be collecting.
