MY main complaint with Arcadia thus far is the lack of paint detail. They seem to be skipping out a bit which is a letdown. If they are going to charge a premium they need to produce a premium product.

Is the Falcon the most impractical hero eva or is it just me? 1. Has to hold his hands straight out to fly. 2. Has no protective abilities, armor, or superhuman strength. 3. Uses pew pew machine guns. 4. Hovers stationary in the air to shoot said machine guns. I guess he makes a good epic mount for cap when he needs to get from one place to another... My big question is... why doesn't cap just wear the wings when he needs to get around. Paint them red white and blue and call it Captain Eagle flight mode? -

I don't plan on reading the books til the shows done. I'd rather live the surprise of the show and then go back and read the books for more detail.

It's not that I mind seeing some of these ladies naked and writing around... but the lack of big battles kind of pisses me off. They do just about everything they can to avoid filming one until the end of season 2. Maybe hire less naked women and they could afford one

Not gonna happen. No pointy noses for me. My main problem with Plus was the plot, and the ending. I know it was an entry point for a lot of people who post here today, so they love it, but it didn't feel like Macross to me. I just went back at the start of last year and started with SDF and went all the way through to the end of Frontier. I skipped through most of 7, but I watched everything else. The fact that I find most of the valk designs to be lame doesn't help either. To each his own.

Wm cheng - Honest reviews are great. Thanks for a solid opinion. I'm hoping they will learn from this release to work on the VF-0D... but it does seems Arcadia is cutting corners that Yamato didn't. The tampo printing on the VF-1's is a good example.

Why does every thread about a new piece devolve into a discussion about destroids? Lets talk about clown Valks and how expensive this thing is going to be. Is the YF-19 sold out anywhere?

[season 1 spoilers] I've resisted watching this series because I started to read the novel a few years ago and I found it a bit boring and I couldn't finish it. I figured it would mostly be soap opera stuff... which it is, but luckily the violence and acting keep it interesting. I had nothing to watch after College basketball was over so I said frakk it. I know nothing about the series except that the Red Wedding is bad (I Don't know who it's bad for yet.) and I had an idea that Sean Bean would have some problems, I just wasn't sure when. Anyway, I found Lord Stark to be a bit of a coward. He seems to cave in to every demand of him for his "honor". I understand that he is suppose to be the good guy in this tale... for want of a better word. But he just struck me as weak and spineless most of the time. Maybe that's the point, but every time he had a chance to make a stand and show some balls he goes the other way and gets in worse and worse circumstances. I find a lot of the sex scenes to be completely ridiculous. Not because I'm a prude... I love a nice rack, but some of them are shoe horned in so poorly it kind of makes you wonder how pathetic HBO thinks it's fans are. The dwarf is fantastic. I really love watching him act out his character. I was a little bummed that Drago and his son died. I was looking forward to a Mongol type invasion from the south. Oh well. I'm sure it will build up another way. Anyway, I was sucked in pretty quickly and I blew through the first season in a 4 days. Looking forward to catching up.

Nothing strange about that. Personally I think Zero and Frontier are the best after SDF Macross.

I'd put the Roy and Hikaru in the pile of re-issues we didn't really need, but some people who wanted a new VF-1 like them. And I'm sure it was a low cost way to generate cash for the development of the 19, which is fine.

This should be my first proper Arcadia release purchase, unless they re-release some interesting VF-1's any time soon. I'll def be skipping the clown Valk renewal. With the sound buster I bet it will be 500 bucks! haha Looks really great. Love the pics.
