    Reminded me a bit of the robots in Matrix 2 in the dock scene, but yes cool with the inner heat daze effect.

    I was just reading on Wiki that they actually made the suits for filming. Like 80 pounds of foam and gears, and they had to suspend the actors with chains between takes. Now that's cosplay.

    Great film. I haven't seen a Sci-fi film this fresh and fun since the first Matrix film back in the 90's. Really well executed. I knew I knew that general somewhere... It was Mad-Eye Moody eh? Also, Paxton did a fantastic job. It was nice to see cruise in a roll where he isn't the hero right out of the gate too.

    The only good TF designs were from 80's imo. Mostly because cars these days are lame looking hunks with no real presence. I mean, movie starscream has a cool alt mode because the stealth jet is awesome, but what's the bot mode about? It's a pile of junk. If you're not working the design of the iconic vehicle into the transformation... what are you giving me?

    That's how it works. The more people that pass on it, the more rare it becomes and the more value it has a few years down the line. VF-X's were passed over and sold on sale for $60 bucks too haha

    I finally opened mine tonight and I have to say that I love this piece. I was a big naysayer but it's really pretty out of the box, even without decals. I might buy another since it's on sale.

    Considering I paid $500 for one 6 months ago... 250 is a deal It's the best paint job on any MP out there imo.

    Ok, so the first Grimlock for Takara came out in 08. This was an Ehobby exclusive and was A. Limited and B. had a bit more paint going into its construction. It was also the first release to have the crown. I think the original Takara MSRP'd around $140-160? I think it's worth it personally

    Found a cool picture. I just read up on the show and started watching the OVA's. I didn't realize it's by the same guy who did votoms! Man this would make a great hollywood remake. I'd buy that original SPEC but it's missing the pilot and dirty.

    It was super rare up until about 3 weeks ago and they announced Preorders for a second run. Before that it was selling for $600-1,000 bucks. The PO is up for it's original MSRP of $250. Only places that I know that have it so far are BBTS and TFSource.

    I keep seeing 3P that impresses me... but just not quite enough to pull the trigger. Not enough that I can't wait on an official MP. Tempted on six shot. Tempted on the dino's. I think the Metroplex 3p will be my first. I doubt they'll make a masterpiece of him any time soon haha

    At least $250. But maybe cheaper due to it being a general release as reported. The old VF-0's sell for close to $200 used.
