  1. I think it's a legit gripe considering how important scale can be in display, not to mention his other issues. People still raise hell that Grimlock is slightly out of scale. TFW2005 is every man for himself haha.
  2. In that picture he is in front of UM and looks taller. He reaches past the rocket. In the new picture he is beside him and doesn't reach the rocket on his shoulder. Why is it silly if you don't like something?
  3. Eh, they are always up for auction somewhere. If you see them buy them. If you can't afford it... sell something or save up
  4. Who displays him in cab mode? Nobody, that's who. He's in scale with mp-01 at least. Primes eyes should be right about at UM's chin. It's pretty significant.
  5. I have a question... Why doesn't Tak just buy out companies like Make toys? They could change the design slightly, increase production a bit for scale, and make tons of money? haha
  6. Yeah it's insanely too big haha. Most people seem to be eating it up but It kind of kills the deal for me.
  7. I'm at like 75% for canceling Ultra fattus. I could live with some kibble, and maybe some crappy articulation, and maybe an annoying transformation, and generally bad proportions... but scale... scale is a bridge too far. Don't think he'll even fit in a detolf cube... Yeah I posted it 7 minutes before Dat tiny matrix...
  8. Welp... so much for the vision of the MP line being in a general scale with each other. W.. T... F...
  9. Did a little review of all the guys I'm selling with some opinions.
  10. This should start shipping by the end of the month.
  11. Don't like the mold... it's so boring compared to the Cars or even soundwave. It's a big tube with arms and legs. And I don't like how the shoulders sit higher than they should.... Idk, at least the first version looks good in Alt mode. I hope they rework them some day.. but they will milk this mold until the wheels fall off haha
  12. Nice. Grabbed the 1st Spec Layzner on ebay for $119 shipped, factoring in about $30 bucks shipping that's close to MSRP.
  13. Wish you'd been here 4 or 5 months ago. I sold a bunch of stuff. Yeah the boxes are big, like 1/48 macross size but thicker. At least $40 bucks
  14. Not really. It always broke because it was so long on the first release. It was shaped like with a curve and small point at the base, so any stress put the most weight on the weakest point. Glad they see that.
  15. The difference in a V1 (Purple, First green) a 1.5 (SB, Deep space, Clear parts edition) is that they will stand up on their own. Where as the V1's will tilt and almost fall over. The 1.5's still have crappy arms though, and annoying hands. The V2's have completely different legs and will bend at the knee and stand on their own and hold most poses that I tried. The hands can still be annoying though... that's one good thing about the Brutish.. the gun is the hand, so you don't have to fool with it. The TC i had would hold poses with a gun but you still had to fiddle a bit.
  16. Is the gold diecast?
  17. The brutish is practically a V2. The legs are stronger and it's much more finished feeling. The SB is a 1.5 but still falls apart virtually all the time.
  18. I really wish Sentinel would pick up the line and do something around the 1/18th scale, Maybe slightly larger to afford a more complex chirico pilot. Seems tailored made for their ingenuity and quality. 1/12 is just too big imo. They are already halfway there with the Biloda stuff. The DMZ's look excellent but aren't much fun to handle or pose. The Yamato's V2's are good toys but still have a few flaws, and just take up so much damn room. I'd just pick one Yamato and go all out for it and not sink a ton of money into collecting a lot. But that's just my opinion.
  19. I was cleaning out the crawl space above my walk-in closet and laying down paper so I could move some of my boxes up there for storage... broke the bulb in one of my review lamps! doah.
  20. It sells too well for them to discontinue it. It's always out of stock. Probably just finding that beech wood was too expensive. Also, I've never understood why people think the Detolf isn't sturdy. I know the inner metal rack kind of wobbles but that's just the design. It's heavy as hell and I've never had issues.
  21. I rock the brown so no worries here
  22. Not my bag baby
  23. Finally a cool Arcadia release
  24. Fugly storm, complete with fugly kid. What a waste of a release haha
  25. Ah ok. I thought it was different companies haha.
