  1. I didn't even see that go up haha I think prices are starting to go up somewhat...but we're looking at outliers that are auctions and manadrake fishing to see if somebody will pay $700. I wouldn't panic just yet, but Arcadia needs to release crap people actually want.
  2. They'll be more if I cancel mine. He looks like a big pile of lame. And he'll take up a lot of display room...
  3. I like my war machine 2.0 but I want to sell him to make room for some other stuff. I'm not a huge fan of the character either. he's a really cool piece as far as the toy goes. I love the fingers on him.
  4. Sweet. I like the head. It has a cool realism to it I think. I'm trying to hunt down the first version as I'm really into this mech
  5. frakk that. haha. I don't mind throwing down some coin on something I want but that's a crazy price for a $120 dollar valk. I'm not the person who sees that value
  6. They are cool... and it looks fun like the general Frankie, but for me it has no place in my collection as I have no connection to the show and I don't collect every SOC. Maybe it's a big seller in Japan... who knows. I'm kind of Glad SOC isn't always putting out something I want though. Save me another PO to buy haha.
  7. Well one is a massively long TV show, and one is a movie. You have a young brash kid who is trying to make good and is unsure of himself (Maverick/Hikru) and a seasoned vet who is his best friend. (Roy/Goose). The elder friend dies in a dog fight. They are fighting a faceless enemy (Russia/Zentradi) on a battleship over open water. Obviously Macross has a lot more development and sci-fi themes, and the pop idol thing, but there are a lot of similarities. It's in the same ballpark. If you were a kid in the 80's it was badass jet fighters in dog fights and that's all that mattered.
  8. If you hate Top Gun I'm not sure what to say to you... How can you be a Macross fan? It's essentially the same crap except the planes don't have a battroid mode and it isn't animated.
  9. You're very talented. Great work.
  10. Ultra Magnus finally hit order stop on HLJ.
  11. Oh that's never a good slope to slip on
  12. I love Tom Cruise. I don't care how actors or musicians act in their private life. I think it's frakking sad so many people DO care what other people do with their time. Entertain me when I put down my movie cash and you're gold in my book.
  13. Shockwave has a pretty classic robot mode, and kids always love guns. He also had a gun for a hand, one eye, and was purple. That crap is gold in the 80's. Gold Jerry.
  14. I'm at work. I wasn't going to buy one so I didn't try. Just trying to help you bozos Looks like the site is down now.
  15. Soundblaster is still in stock some places. Might be worth checking out.
  16. No it wasn't. It was up for a good 20-30 min when I posted. It's going to come up and down just like with soundwave.
  17. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=31372196 Grimmy is back up, if anybody is still looking at this point. Edit. And it's gone. Looks like the page is up for awhile though so watch that space.
  18. Like $130 I think. HLJ has the red one. The black one is a convention only deal.
  19. http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN939728/Sci SOC Godmars restock/reissue finally up at HLJ. $200 even
  20. http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Size_class Beast wars was the first range to use classes. Basic, the cheapest at US$5. Deluxe, at US$10. This was one of the strongest performing price points, and nearly all future retail lines would feature product in the deluxe price range. Mega, at US$15. Toys of this size were often shelfwarmers. Ultra, at US$20. Only eight toys were sold at this price point. Super, at US$30. This size class contained only one toy, Optimal Optimus. Basic and Deluxe are sold on cards to this day; size classes larger than Deluxe were, and are, sold in boxes. Each range since then has their own distinctions. The above link has all you need to know.
