    Looper had some cool moments, but overall it wasn't vvery interesting or memorable. That said it could be a bad script, and a bad movie.

    That sucks. I hope they packed them well and this was a Post office issue. of course they should put a do not stack message on it IMO.

    Hahaha. I'd like to see something truly innovative... like a mix between this in robot mode and a 1/55 valk, with hommages to G1. Something fun haha

    It has it's appeal. I just think the robot mode could have some more flash. I mean if you look at Prowl or Sideswipe... in the cartoon, obviously they lack details and distinguishing factors, but in the original G1 toy (Stolen from diaclone) and in the MP line they have detail. Like the raised bits under the leg glass, ect. Jetfire just lacks any real detai in robot mode that makes him stand out. It needs something to break up all that white imo

    he's a bit taller than MP sideswipe and looks decent next to the cars. I paid $100 for a MP alert haha, so why not.

    Cool combiner video: I like how they kind of lose the plot around computron/Abomnus and it turns totally Japanese influenced 70/80's retreads with the human style heads. Liokaizer is badass though. I think on pure strength, predaking is the strongest yeah? Even over menasor. Though... i'm not an expert on non G1, but Extinction is probably the king... all the dinobots in some messy semi-combiner gestalt. I think it was in FOC or a comic or something.

    Welp. Grabbed my first 3rd party today. Threw Heavy Noisey on my stack at TF source with Silverstreak. He's really G1 accurate and looks fun as hell. Plus soundwave is lonely even with his tapes

    I think it was pretty much the consensus from the RJ thread and elsewhere due to the font, layout and design. Makes sense they would do it under another name for two reasons. 1. Lion voltron is a hot property legally. Somebody may come after them. 2. The VV debacle could shy people off PO. Also, the official Mircale account on RJ is the one posting pictures.. haha http://robotjapan.proboards.com/user/5792 I went ahead and grabbed a VV for $180 shipped at toyarena. Beats the hell out of my original $260+shipping from toy Freakz that I cancelled. That seems like a fair price for the piece in its 2.5 state. Plus I really wanted it before all the crap went down.

    Yeah the flaw in your logic is that that's prices from 2008 before the economy took a crap. http://www.hlj.com/product/ymt00080/Sci Back then Yamato was asking $90 for a VF-1 and $40 for Supers. Since then there has been the global collapse, yamato went out of business more or less, and inflation. Going on Valk prices it's almost 60% increase based off what Arcadia is asking for the yf-19 ect. I think they will be at least $80 bucks on the low end. They seem to like throwing in extras too and asking more + smaller runs which could jack up the price too. I'm comfortable in thinking they will be at least $250-260 and stand alone supers being $80-100. Maybe with a discount closer to $240 for the bird. They aren't going to ask less than what supers are selling for on the secondary market which is around $110, depending. It's still a considerable amount of plastic. Bandai charges $70ish for their supers and they tend to flux up and down depending on demand and parts. All this is before shipping mind, so that's at least $35-40 bucks for a double box. But hey! I hope you're right. I'd like to get a max and maybe another milia so the cheaper the betta.

    Still on the fence on that guy. It's fairly cheap... looks fun and cool for display, but doesn't fit my collection and I could give a rats ass about hello kitty haha. I see myself wanting to sell it in a month or two...

    I think I did ok. The one that went up on Man in the middle of the night was only $220 but used. And as I posted earlier in the thread I saw one sell close to that on YJ with some fading/paint missing. Either way I'm just happy to have one. I've been wanting one for close to a year hahah

    I paid about 40 above what the new retail will be if they re-issue it., and then normal EMS shipping + 10 bucks. I don't think that's astronomical. Considering Arcadia asks $150ish for a valk now, and super parts trend around $110 dollars or more, and if they throw in extras... it could be $260-300 easy for a reissue + shipping. Plus, they might leave out something Yamato added to save or cut costs like they did with the Focker and Hik releases. I overpaid a bit but it's worth it in my mind as it could be another 6 months before we even get M&M's from Arcadia. Anything in the 400+ range would be a bit crazy imo.
