Finally got my Super 7 Snake Eyes! I would say I'm "whelmed". No surprises, looks exactly like the pictures. Which is good because the pictures looked great and the figure does too. The poseability isn't spectacular but it's fine. Nothing double jointed, no kneeling poses or anything. Basically what you would expect. I definitely can't justify the price. If it were more reasonable I'd be down for, well, the whole line maybe. Maybe I'll pick up a few more if they go on sale. Definitely in for a V2 Snake Eyes if it happens.

If the Classified series had looked this good from the get go my wallet may have suffered. It looks like they got rid of most of the mall-ninja crap (I hated the random bits of metal armor on the first waves) and pointless textures and nonsense seam lines everywhere. Although has the person responsible for that been thoroughly beaten yet? I don't like loose ends. Most guns even have actual barrels now. Nice!

Well I bit the bullet and bought a VF-1S off Amazon. The blow was softened by paying the majority of the price with my Chase Amazon Visa rewards points. So it felt kinda like paying retail.

Finally got my ass in gear and tracked down a GBP armor set. Surprising the price hadn't skyrocketed. I need to get another Valk now. I just have the Hikaru VF-1J. I love the Bandai 1/48s but don't really feel the need to collect them all and would have to get rid of other things to make room. Angel Bird is tempting but I'd also love a brownie (which they haven't made yet right?) or a 1S. I have no idea if you can still get a 1S for retail...just looked around, that's a negative.

Holy crap! The Snake Eyes I ordered forever ago is actually in stock after multiple delays! It took so long that the credit card I had on file had already expired. Fixed that and now my order is being processed. Man, after that wait, it had better be good!

Rebecca Howe! Hard to imagine anyone else being able to fill the void when Shelley Long left Cheers. But Kirstie Alley came in and did a fantastic job. She was great.

Always liked Fleetwood Mac, yet somehow didn't know this person existed. She wrote their best songs too. I thank her for that.

Huh, never knew it before, but I might need a Conan action figure in my life. So do Super 7 figs ever come out? Just asking because I bought a 7 inch Snake Eyes like forever ago and it keeps getting delayed. Last I heard was it should come out this month. But this month is almost over.

This makes me wish CMs would re-release their ride armors with the problems fixed. If it weren't for the breaking windshields, forearm plates not attaching in bike mode, and non-spinning wheels, they would have been near perfect.

Not a fan of random busy design elements just for the sake of visual interest. The classic designs stand on their own and don't need it.

I think it would be pretty dumb not to go for it now, with Marvel fatigue being strong, and Stranger Things boosting the popularity of D&D.
