  1. Being most of the way through this horrible semester, even though I might be in college another year (everyone has to get a C- in one class to take the next one and only half the class gets a C- or above). Being with family, and moving (possibly, I still haven't decided) away from the roommate.
  2. While editing some items and looking around (some NZ loser is seriously making me consider serving him and getting that feedback removed as libelous/slanderous, I found this. Nothing much, except I liked the RT part at the end http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=16514
  3. For the 1/100 I'd say $30-40 max, depending on it's condition.
  4. Hmm, well I don't know where this should go but here it will. For yellowing on something that isn't painted, get these Mr Clean Magic Erasers. I know someone here reccomended them, and that's what I got. They take a while and will easily go through paint and decals (as i sadly found out with a decal on one of my yellow valks), but they work.
  5. Yeah, I would imagine that it would be difficult to do that. Since you've got a large number of them, what is the Gundam figure for this one? I think it was some Zeta Gundam thing but I don't remember. And I definitely sent payment for 2 this morning (definitely glad tomorrow's Thanksgiving - payday came a day early).
  6. Wow, even Graham is having to go through Rob for them. And could I up my order to get 2 instead of 1? I don't want to fill up your inbox (PMs and Hotmail, both of which seem to fill up rather quickly for me).
  7. Depending as to what you watch, yes. I'd say just skip the AUs (Wing, X, G, and Seed), with the exception of Turn A. I'd say to get the movies, but realize that they are condensed versions. And I'd stay away from any of the OVAs and, that Wing movie, and the 0083 Movie (Last Blitz of Zeon?) First Gundam, Zeta, ZZ, and F91 are good. Definitely start off with some of the First Gundam stuff though, since you won't understand a thing without it. And, in response to what other people have said, everyone can say half that stuff about every anime (I do).
  8. More stuff for the pile. I think anyone can say this buyer will be really happy, especially given what these usually go for. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=36568 At the prices some of this stuff is going for, I'm probably going to list my HCM to see how it goes.
  9. And nobody here wants one (I'm pretty sure nobody here would)
  10. LOL I wasn't sure if anyone else had ever seen that suck ass movie. It did have a funny side though. Last year one of my friends practically got into a fight with the RA over that movie (he loved it, was drunk and wouldn't shut up about it and my RA just started threatening him, so practically had to drag him back to his room). I'd have to say Alien 3 though, since I really wouldn't count LotR (any of them) as sci-fi (yes, I hate those movies). Although, for more candidates for this list, just watch sci-fi during the weekends, all (pretty much) those films would make this list.
  11. I have conectix vgs and I love the thing. Not only does it play all games (legit ones) it will run any game just as well as a playstation (except for the resolution) on a Celeron 333 with windows 98 and 32 megs of ram. Of course, on my laptop I had to get a mod version for windows xp.
  12. If you ever liked side scrolling shooters, get Ikaruga. If you never tried them, get Ikaruga. Resident Evil is worth it if you can get it for under $20, Resident Evil 0, well don't ever speak of it. You might want Rogue Squadron, but only if it's cheap (I just thought something was off with this game). And Pikmin was good. And Skies of Arcadia. For racing, Auto Modellista is supposed to be halfway decent.
  13. You know, I've had that game for more than 2 years. Haven't actually gotten around to playing it. Actually, I think I put it in to test it once I got it and played it for like 15 minutes. Other than that, I haven't bothered to touch it. Half the time I forget I have the thing.
  14. Hmm, this seems familiar from Yahoo JP http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=16467 and I want a destroid Conversion Kit but at these prices I'm going to Yahoo JP. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=16467
  15. Pretty much everything is that way. Like everything people buy isn't at MSRP unless it has the manufacturer's price tag on it. And then there's the MPC. But other than that, practically nothing retails for MSRP without a tag, even when it's a new release. When's the last time you paid $55 or $57 for a video game? Odds are you haven't, even those are the standard MSRP.
  16. I'd much rather have a 1/55 instead of the corresponding 1/60 (I don't have a 1/48 although the Hikaru VF-1S is tempting) because I think the Yamatos have huge problems that the Bandais don't have. Accuracy, for me at least, isn't that big of an issue as long as they aren't totally inaccurate. Especially since Bandais/Takatokus are better in a number of categories.
  17. If you need it, I managed to find some pics of some of the 1985 Bandai models.
  18. Thanks for this Shawn. Who doesn't love 20 year old commercials in foreign languages? It would have been nice if this were a full length (30 second), well, at least the Super Valk part. It also would have been nice if these were included on the 20th anniversary DVD. But it's still good to see it.
  19. Nice collection Grayson, it's the first time I've seen someone with all the destroids in 1/72.
  20. Yeah, you can. Or you can get the freeloader/action replay. Personally I like it being modded, although you need to remember don't switch it while its on.
  21. I might get it once my PS2 arrives. Although I'd have to dig up the headset if it doesn't come with one already. Although my PS2 does come with SOCOM and I played it before, for like 5 minutes. Based on how much I like SOCOM, I'll consider this one. Although I need to get so much more stuff now so it will probably take me forever to get it.
  22. e-mail all that stuff to him? Hell no, even if it isn't a scam its not worth it.
  23. That's one thing I never got - he points out the elbows but he doesn't mention the landing gear covers (which are different)
  24. That's an understatement for Dells. I helped people last year with their computers (I'm at college and I was at a computing site and we took phone calls about crap), and a lot of people have had random crap happen with Dell laptops. Like random freezing - that's not uncommon. And I had someone with a Maxtor HD that tried to put it in and it wouldnt work (they had a new Dell desktop and the HD was new). If you can get a deal on a Dell then it's worth it, otherwise it isn't. And you need to pay a lot or you get crap overall with Dell. The only reason Dell makes money is because they sell people a lot more of a computer than they will need in the next 3 years.
  25. Hmm, at Webster Place I think it was $9.25 or $9.50 for a ticket. At least Webster Place has free parking, although it really doesn't matter on Friday or Saturday night.
