  1. Hmm, I'd definitely say Jet Grind (or Set, depending as to where you live) Radio, Shenmue, and Aero Dancing i (an awesome flight sim).
  2. This was exactly my first Macross toy as well. I still have it, it brings back good memories. It is a bootleg under the name "Macres". For many years, I thought the series was called "Macres" until I saw it on TV and dicovered the true name: "Robotech". Can you tell I live in the U.S.? It might have been my first one as well (my memory's not that clear as to which I bought first), but I'd be more inclined to believe he had the actual Takatoku version instead of a Macres bootleg, as it was during 1982 (and the Macres stuff were takatoku molds)
  3. It's definitely not a bootleg. I had one of them. There's a ton of diecast in these things, but until like 6 months ago you wouldn't get more than $30 for them, then the price shot up. Some people have been saying they are transformable in their auctions though.
  4. I also believe there was an Imai 1/12 kit.
  5. I just finished it, I thought it was ok, but nothing good (and not as good as the original). The ending was good though. Although there definitely were a ton of plot holes.
  6. that 1/6300 sdf-1 was definitely disappointing, as were any of the original matchbox robotech toys (the ones first made by matchbox, not repackaged ones). these dell inspiron notebooks like a year and a half ago - they would just randomly freeze up any 1/60 yamato the 1/100 bandais/takatoku valks
  7. The original Dawn of the Dead was good (not as good as the original Night of the Living Dead though). I'm gonna go see it either Friday or Saturday. Hopefully it won't suck as badly as most of the movies I've recently seen.
  8. It doesn't show his negative (for me at least). It shows that he has one, but it doesn't show up in the actual comments section.
  9. Check out the feedback that guy has left for others - he bids a ton but doesn't buy the item! Also, check this out: http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?...rid=superion777 Anyone else notice something about that guy's feedback?
  10. I'd have to go with my first Takatoku Misa, at like $300 (now I own 3, one of which I got for like $50 with box). My most expensive yamato was a 1/60 vf-1a hikaru at $45 (I paid less for the vf-1j super).
  11. Someone seems to be selling them on Yahoo JP (saying a 3/15 release date). http://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/65518954
  12. If I had to guess, I'd say broken arms. And the cockpit was painted over.
  13. I think that $80 is a little too high for that, but it won't come down much since nobody else is making Alphas. Fortunately, I only want the Legioss Zeta (I'm not buying the RT ones unless they get some tasteful packaging) so I can see what happens to prices. And the prices wouldn't be so bad if they dropped the limited edition crap (although they didn't sell out of the MPCs, with the exception of volume 1).
  14. All I care about on Outbreak is the online play, how was that? I have the import version, so I can't play online. It should be better than offline though, provided that there are no bugs or anything like that (no lag). The big thing about offline is that the AI are incompetent. They will always take weapons (even empty ones) over health (and only heal themselves if they are in danger) and attack any enemies (well, they send a few bullets their way). Although, for everyone's sake, play through the game offline twice before playing online (so everyone knows what they are doing and where the items are).
  15. Meh. All of the GC RE games have been disappointing. Even Outbreak was disappointing (I've beaten it with everyone, every scenario and got all the endings).
  16. Wow, the mods have yet to change the sig.
  17. I smell project..... If it was a SU then i might have to sell everything and just move into that... Parents""what , you wanna buy a what, you wanna gonna get a loan for what..??" Me'"yeah guys a Su-27, no one wil be able to shoot me down..its fast and manuverable""..SU If you tried to get a loan for that, the loan officer would probably laugh you out of the bank. (or think "Yeah, and FAA people saying 'I'm here to help' are also telling the truth)
  18. Definitely Ikaruga. And, if you play Japanese and US games, you need another memory card (one for each territory). If you turn it on to play JPN games and a US memory card is there, it gets formatted (and vice versa).
  19. Assuming they actually got the rights, this might be good if it were an actual product worth buying (I paid $6 for a Macross Superposeable and thought I was cheated). And they aren't even using the DYRL logo, they just added "Do You Remember Love" to the SDF Macross logo.
  20. Perhaps I should point out that it says "Box is mint" and "Toy itself is in great mint condition." Not to mention that the pictures don't show the stickers peeling, it says the box is bent, nothing relates to the figure. So reading all of it is key. As for grading the item, I definitely agree with Noel here. I never grade an item - one person's definition of the grade is different from another's. Anyone that sells cards (like baseball cards) knows what I'm talking about. If you have something halfway decent it has to be graded. Most people won't bid unless it is. But you can't grade it yourself - you have to send it off to have it graded, and half the time your buyer will demand to see the actual thing. I just provide an accurate description.
  21. Umm, I'd call the CC company (if applicable) right now. According to this thread ( http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=3914&hl= ) there was only one Low Vis on sale, yet both Skull Hunter and cadman181 said they each bought a Low Vis from him. Seems fishy...
  22. hmm, I saw that over at ASSEMbler the other day and meant to post it, but forgot to (it was before it ended).
  23. Yeah, people do sell the codes. I wouldn't say that his description is misleading, as anyone that reads two sentences (or one line) will realize that it clearly states it's only codes. So it's really just incompetent people and a guy that knows people are incompetent (and so he pushes it). I've done it before (pushed an item) and some people complain, but it's their fault they didn't bother to read (it's not as though the guy is lying). Still reminds me of the Xbox box auctions from when the Xbox first came out (people paid like $250 for them).
  24. Here's the auction link (I believe) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...68&category=748 We also had a discussion regarding this item in the wtf thread in the auction forum http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...12&t=917&st=200 Basically it is a Matsushiro since they didn't have special markings or anything, except for the black landing gear triggers.
