That's pretty bad, although I saw something on eBay a few months ago that was worse (I'll see if I can dig it up). Basically the person had a Jetfire in fighter mode and didn't have a clue how to transform it. They thought it was a rocket and everything. Needless to say, it was very amusing.

But if I remember correctly, that auction had a Max and Milia.

I actually saw that first one before (it's a case of 24, but it's still about $100 too much). Yahoo Japan is pretty good for laughs (most people there just list their items for a certain price and then proceed to relist it until it sells).

Hmm, I wouldn't be surprised if some places in Japan had some anime stuff in it, but not now (especially given how hard Macross stuff is to find there). I'm pretty sure that Daiei had electronics and clothing (in addition to food, although they were getting out of electronics), so I would assume that they would have some sort of anime stuff (probably along the lines of MSiAs). And I'm sure there are other people there like that as well (I forgot who it is but Walmart invested in somebody in Japan 3 or so years ago).

Hmm, I should point out that the toy section is out-of-date and incomplete. Nothing on the Bandai reissues and the Takatoku section is missing a lot.

Hmm, I actually have a question for this. On my Bandai reissue (the recent one) Super VF-1S, one of the friggin wings doesn't stay in place. I took the thing apart (had some interesting results there) and the wing appeared to be in good condition but the thing still doesn't stay put. Anybody have any ideas? And I might as well put some useful stuff here since someone will ask sooner or later. With a wobbly leg in a 1/55, just get a screwdriver and tighten the screws in the leg bar thing. Although don't tighten them too much since you can wind up destroying the leg. And with a 1/60, just use a friggin hobby knife to get the canopy off. There was an obvious design problem with the valk - it's not that hard to get off with some leverage, but you can't get any (that's what the hobby knife is for). Although hold your hand over the canopy - I spent like 10 minutes looking for one that flew off.

They're running all the epps on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim monday - thursday nights. No new epps but the same old ones with no edits. I have also seen Family Guy airing on TBS but don't know their actual schedule. Actually TBS is just showing the ones from the previous night on CN. And CN is editing them. In The Road to Rhode Island they took out a part about Osama bin Laden trying to get weapons past airport security (Stewie got them through). Since it's part of the second season, was this part edited from the DVDs? I doubt it but you never know. Although TBS is showing an extra episode per week (the one on Mondays isn't shown on CN).

In terms of Macross (and toys in general), I would have to go with my Takatoku Misa. Even though it's homeless (no accessories or box, just like the vf-1j and 1/100 vf-1a), it's still my favorite. Overall, I would have to go with something from my autograph collection. I've got a Super Bowl XX posted autographed by like half the Bears team (like all the starters and Ditka) and all the starters (and Ditka) on the Program for it. Not to mention All Star game baseballs with like half of the teams on them. And Namath and Payton on footballs. Of course, all this stuff took a ton of time (and money) to get (I got most of it in like 5 years).

The only thing I've broken recently was a Bandai 1/55 CF. There I was, just messing around with the thing and the entire arm assembly pops out. It only took me an hour to fix it though.

1/72 - 0 (might get the vf-11B FP and probably getting the YF-19 FP when it comes out) 1/60 - 2 (probably going to get the SuperO and Elintseeker even though I despise these things) 1/48 - 0 (might get a Hikaru 1S - I don't really think it's worth it for the price)

I would prefer the 1J head but would get it if it had the 1A head. Of course, Yamato could splurge and spend an extra $.10 and give us both heads.

Bandai needs to reissue more than just the 1/55s. Although they still do need to release the rest of the 1/55s. They need to reissue the HCMs and ARII's model kits. And, if they have them, the 1/144 destroids and the 1/240 Monster. And the GBP. And, if they have it, the destroid conversion kit (I'd buy 5). So they need to reissue everything, except for the 1/100s (which Banpresto has taken care of).

I almost always use some variation of nemesis. Except for eBay.
