  1. Damn, that Wheelie actually looks cool.
  2. I barely remember this game. I tried it out at my cousin's pad all those years ago, and at the time I thought it was the bee's knees. Sadly, that was all I got to play of it. Seeing this game in action reminds me a lot of Vasteel:
  3. And yeah, that double wing has to go. Ugh.
  4. It's weird, I love muscle cars and I liked Knight Rider as a kid. So combining the two for a new design should be a winning combo, right? Nope. Knowing that a Shelby 500 GT will now be linked to something as campy as KR just raises the hair on the back of neck.
  5. Aw gawd, it's true: Neo-KITT
  6. For a mass produced toy, it looks killer-good price too. The only thing that keeps me away from it is the size.
  7. Just a heads up: I almost sniped a Binaltech Hound on eBay, until I noticed a separate auction for its knock off counterpart. I looked more into it, and it turned out the Hound I wanted was a fake. The seller claimed it was loose with no box, but I’m guessing he was just hiding the fact that it was a KO (all the fake Autobot labels were removed as well). The fake BTs look awfully convincing from afar, until you look at their packaging and the fine details. Heck, I’d be picking them up, but apparently some don’t hold together very well. Although the kitbashing possibilities are tremendous with these fakies floating around.
  8. Are those Fist of the North Star Revys?
  9. I was browsing around for valk toys when I found the treasure trove that was (and is) MW. I think I clicked on a link from the good 'ol Valkyrie Exchange.
  10. Wow, I never thought I'd see a toy of the Peacemaker. I would've thought that CMs would go with the original AV-X0 from the movie first, but the mass-produced version is just as good!
  11. Sweet, thanks Tober! Those launchers are exactly what I'm looking for to complete the look of what few BTs I have, and for unofficial accessories, they look quite nice. When I do track down a Hound, it'd be a damn shame for him to be without his signature shoulder weapon. Is it safe to assume that anyone looking for those packs are SOL?
  12. This might seem like old news to some, but does anyone have pics of the elusive Binaltech accessory packs on their TFs? I just learned about them from a fellow collector, and I don't think I've ever seen them. These packs contain swords and more importantly shoulder mounted missile launchers.
  13. Nah, I'm not sick of the VF-1 at all. I'm even hoping all these VF-1 toys will make other toy companies (okay, just Bandai) give their own spin on the venerable Valkyrie.
  14. After several transformations with WallyWorld SS, I'm not seeing any of those stress marks...yet. Going through the wasteland that was post-Black Friday in Target, I was able snag a lone Ironhide that was buried underneath a pile of the Fast Action Battlers. I scoffed at the "auto-morph" gimmick, but after seeing Ironhide's leg transformation with the swiveling panels, I can't help but be mystified like a kitten watching a dangling thread.
  15. Quite nostalgic, those clips. I knew I wasn't seeing things as a kid when I saw Megatron with a different head!
  16. 1). There needs to be another SDF-1 toy made, preferably similar to the BPX Yamato, it IS the Macross for pete's sake! 2). The original Monster deserves the same amount of attention the Koenig Monster got. 3). A VF-2SS with SAP attachments would be sweet.
  17. After tinkering around for some time with MP SS, I have to say that it's a lot better than I thought it'd be. The only lame part about it is the rear landing gear, but I guess I can't expect anything more with so little room to work with. And it's gonna stay on the stand in alt. mode anyways, so that's just a minor quibble. There is some slop with the weathering, but I could clean that up easy. As for the nose cone, it's gonna stay silver. After seeing the previous pic with the blue nose cone, the silver's looking a lot better. Thanks to cschell for hooking me up! After all this, I have actually ended up with an extra MP SS. I'm willing to sell this with no markup, just sales tax and shipping, so if anyone's interested, just let me know.
  18. A second take on a Skystriker would indeed be very cool. Too bad I wouldn't have any room for it. For the later waves, I'm hoping the Crimson Guard twins make an appearance, and one of my faves as a kid, Sci Fi - the only Joe ballsy enough to wear neon green on the battlefield.
  19. Both look weird in robot mode, especially Prime. It's as if the vehicle "shell pieces" were placed on the wrong spots.
  20. Geez, how many times does Snake Eyes have to show up? On the other hand, I do remember a time not too long ago when a pristine Snake Eyes figure was a prime and expensive find. So what's different with Wave 6 Snake Eyes?
  21. If I had cat, I'd probably hose it down too after seeing that clip! I really want to see what the underside of fighter mode looks like. From what little I saw, the profile was reasonably thin. Thanks for posting the clip, charger69!
  22. Yeah, the "All-Spark" line or whatever it's called. I've seen Landmine pop up in eBay, but not in the local stores around here in NorCal.
  23. That's a pretty wicked custom, though I never saw Bumblebee with such a mean look on his face. I think I'm gonna call it quits on the hunt for MP SS. MWer cschell has offered to sell me his extra at cost, but I'll still keep an eye out for an extra one for any MWer that can't find it. Speaking of hunts, has anyone seen Landmine or Cliffjumper in the stores yet?
  24. So at this rate, no new designs for the MP line until maybe MP-15?
  25. I remember seeing them on ebay for real cheap, there are a couple of them on auction now like this one: Gobot suit Thanks for putting up the trailer pic, mpchi!
