I'm not sure what it is with Japanese Folklore and Giant CojonedRacoons. Actually the other instance of Giant Cojoned Racoons that I saw was in one of those Ghibli movies. That was a head trip.

w00t! Episode 4 rocked. I really liked how Mithril is depicted as a very organised and professional military unit. You don't really get that feeling from the 1st season. Underaged lesbian twins were awesome. About Sagara not liking the Arbalest, I can understand. Sagara has always been the control freak...what...setting up traps all over the school, protecting Chidori from every known threat except a meteor heading for earth, and the Arbalest to him is just too "unreliable". The lambda driver which is a big uncertainty to Sagara causes him to doubt the Arbalest , which in turn doesn't allow him to use it effectively as well.

I would imagine if the Zentrans could survive in the vacuum of space (like Breetai did) I would think they are very strong, even for their size.

I'm almost 99.99999999999% sure that the Nirvash Zero will pull an EVA01 on us, go berserk and do some powerful crap. Its kinda hinted in one frame of the OP where we see a "berserk" Nirvash.

What I usually do is to cut a hatch at the bottom of the blister packaging. Then you can pull out the plastic tray from the packaging with ease and put it back without damaging the blister pack much.

I think part of the drain on Shinn's power was also due to the shot he got from the SF's rail guns. Its funny i keep assuming the railguns are beam cannons because...they always look like beams. As for beam shields...yes they should stop physical weapons since your average beam sword would melt through any physical armour. But i wonder if a gundam could use the shield to punch someone?

Just saw episode 10 and 11. Liking it so far. Episode 10 dwells into Holland and Talho's pasts, and in episode 11, we see an evil black Nirvash called theEND. We also get hints that the LFOs are like Evas, organic things. When the afro-dude's LFO's arm got chopped off , blood was spraying out and theEND looks organic. Crazy chick Anemone looks like a fun character too.

Just saw it. Pretty cool.....cept Kira is dumb for not at least disabling Shinn at that chance. And I don't know how akatsuki's armour works, but wouldn't those beam boomerangs bounce off its arm instead of chopping off its arm? *Shrug* Doms are cool....they still maintain their hover ability from their UC counterparts....but given beam shields....quite cool. We'll be seeing some squad based team work with the Black Trinity. And now we know that the Destiny and Legend both still use non-nukes....and I would think that SF and IF are still using Nukes....gee....i wonder if Lacus was the true evil after all this time.

ACE is a 3rd person action game. I personally found it rather stale to my liking. ZOE2 beats the crap out of it anyday.

OVA episode 1 just got fan subbed. I believe its only a 2 episode OVA.

With all the robot/war shows like transformers, Robotech, captain power, Saber RIder etc, Thundercats who were about half cat half humans never appealed to me as a kid. I rather be watching Silver Hawks.

Just saw the new Saikano OVA. It was pretty cool. As initially suspected, the ova takes place along side the original events of the TV series. It follows the story of Mizuki, the predecessor to Chise as Japan's Ultimate Weapon. Mizuki was the test-bed for Chise and has reached her limits as a weapon. She can't grow as a weapon anymore and she is no longer used in sorties due to her limitations. But Chise lacks the will to fight whereas she wants to fight, and Mizuki is frustrated because of this. The OVA was pretty cool that it answers some of the questions that most Saikano fans ask during the TV/manga series. Why Chise? Why the heck...omgwtfbbq missiles are spawning from her back!! Ok I lie...they didn't really explain that but you ge the idea. Mizuki can also read Chise's thoughts, so you'll recognise key dialogues of Chise which happened in the TV series and what was really happening elsewhere to Lt. Tetsu and back in HQ etc. Pretty cool. Only thing that bugged me bout the OVA was the OST. The OST felt pretty half-baked. It lacked the oomph of the original. Well I was kinda disappointed that they didn't play Hoshi No Hate as Chise descended on her foes. Pretty good watch.

I don't know. I've watched the film about three times (one time being last night to be sure), and the end of the movie always leaves me wondering "What the fu--?" 318964[/snapback] When the guy's all grown up, news from the girl's fleet who defeated the Tarsian force just reached earth. Those events happened like what....10 years ago and girl was probably on her way back to earth at that time. So, i guess you can say at that moment when both of them thought about their lovey dovey stuff, their feelings traverse space and time. That's pretty cool i thought.

Couldn't stand Bakuretsu.....even its catch phrase of "GIRLS! GUNS! and MECHA!" was pretencious. I highly recommend Elfenlied, one of the most underhyped anime and best IMHO.

I think he means that Gunbuster wasn't a love story at its core, unlike HnK was. Its pretty much like trying to grade Titanic and U5-71 as the same, which were about ships sinking..radioactive problems or whatever....

Well, its kinda cool at the start of it all. Its light hearted and fun but towards the end when you expect it to get better, it kinda goes downhill.....the love arc of it was pretty cheesy and badly done as well. I was disappointed by the end of it. But it was a good ride. Pity.
