Just saw it....felt like I was watching some John Woo + Dragonball movie. The fights, as good as they were became pretty repetitive. Hit hit, parry parry jump fly hit hit parry parry and continue! Bad guys also seem relentless. They don't stay dead. I wonder if Rude and Reno died....hmmm. All this about Reunion....so the bad guys gathered the children cause they have Jenova cells in them. To do what? They don't seem to have a purpose but to draw Cloud. And Cloud doesn't even have Jenova. In the end it was just Kadaj + Jenova = Sephiroth badass. Rite..... Vincent mentioned that Geostigma was a immune system at work. The world was trying to purge Jenova cells from people and so happened the children had Jenova cells somehow. Sephiroth "larvae" as Vincent called Kadaj's gang...not sure how they came about either. Maybe they were past Shin Ra experiments? Or maybe just born with Jenova cells cause apparently Jenova invaded the lifestream when it 1st landed on earth. Story's all over the place....maybe someione can explain better?

B-but....Snake's an old geezer! So i guess the whole world has their own metal gears launched nukes at each other or something. And pretty cool that the mecha following the convoy looks like a mass produced, toned down version of the metal gear rex. Imagine like if every few minutes, Snake has got to get his medication otherwise his artrithis and lung cancer crops out and makes him un-stealth like.

Just watched The Last Order without watching Advent Children yet. Damn my brain needs refreshing. I don't remmeber what happened between Zack and Cloud being defeated by Sephi and then Zack and Cloud escaping where Cloud was comatose. The fight scenes in LO were excellent stuff! If there is ever gonna be a FFVII series, the people who did this OVA has gotta do it. Zack VS Sephi was the win. Only thing i rememebred about it in the game was Sephiroth doing some Jenova ping thingy (whole screen flashes green) and super deformed Zack is thrown to the floor. (I thought he died then...dun remmeber)

I think a huge ass alien makes it there. They couldn't stop it and they were like "OMGWTFBBQ.....3rd Impact...we're doomed...." and then nothing happened. Dual was interesting? It was another EVA clone/parody....

I think what Cyclone meant was the Aliens, not SARGs. SARGs are the mecha in the show. You actually see one of them getting "possesed" ala EVA03 later. An alien head grows out of the SARG. The end was pretty weirded, and pretty much what Cyclone mentioned. They revealed the aliens weren't really aliens at all. Just things manifested by Yuri's desire to go home coupled with some cosmic rays or something. Frank...was Yuri I think. Well i forgot most of what this series was about.

I got tired of waiting for Harotori and went straight for Seed Fansubs. Man...that REQUIEM makes the Junius 7 incident seem mild. Junius 7 was just one colony, Requiem destroyed i think 3 colonies in one go, but for the number people who've died, they didn't make it look as if it was significant enough. Dullindal just goes, "those bastards....attack!" Wow not only are kira and athrun uber MS pilots, they can take on all the assasins on their own....mostly Athrun cause he was Zaft military. If they knew it was gonna be a trap, why not just get Mwu to fly on in, pickup Meer and run. Sheesh. Next episode is gonna be a Meer recap? Gawd help us.

Even our bodies need power to run. We eat to get the power. Evas don't eat (not until later when 01 gets the S2 unit, which ironically is where the stomach is) , but they still need a power source, thus umbilical cable. Or you could just think of the power cord is needed to maintain the nervous system link between the cockpit and the eva, not to directly power it. Anyway on topic of organic mecha, wtf are aura battler dunbines? They look organic enough, but are they, or are they fully mecha? The Escaflowne movie version was pretty organic as well.

If you've watched the series, and movies, you'd know that the Evangelions are all organic creatures wearing armour as a means of being controlled by humans. Think Dino-Riders. There was once a thread that linked to a site where some famous mecha were re-done using the style of the Five Star Stories guy, whatever his name was. I really liked the SDF-1 and Valkyrie designs from that site. It looked organic and pointy.
