I don't fancy his cab mode though. Seems the new arms transformation made the tire gap abit too big.

Prepare for your teenage years to be raped. -
Yeah...the chick that designed the chicken. She's cute...although most of the time her "I am a woman..." lines don't make sense. Like so what if she's a woman? Oh wait...maybe its cause the forum is for single MEN.....but there clearly are women on the forum.....i'm confused.

Next in Zeongraphy line, the Z'gok...and uhh....not sure what that is. Comes in blue/red. -
Robocop's face area is for public interaction. The "Skin" is plastic and his "Crucial orgaincs" are protected within his armored skull and torso housings. A shot to the mouth would really just make him uglier and piss him off. A lot. 346190 That's what I thought. But i wonder how crucial his organics are. Remember in Robocop 2 i believe, he got cut up by a gang with a buzzsaw at some junk yard, then someone put him back together and he was talking fine while his head was decapitated from the torso...with wires of course. Retracting Head Ter Ter: Yeah....remembered that...thought it looked like....crap. Its probably brain food. Output....uhhh.....u know that seat he sits on for maintenance? Doubles as a toilet.

Just how big are these things anyway? From pictures I think they are about gashapon sized.

To be fair, the original Terminator was a slow pile of tin, too. It was just stubborn. I imagine a modern Robocop movie would feature some stunts. 291527 As long as he doesn't cover up that fleshy jaw of his, Robocop can be punked by any street hoodlum with a handgun. Robocop makes as much tactical sense as those open air mecha (can't remember the name!) from Matrix 3. 346090 I don't think those fleshy bits have anything to do with him being able to be alive. IIRC, they ripped his head from his body and he was still alive. I'm sure it just a face for people to feel easy talking with....urmm..well..not like it was easy talking to a bald freak with some sorta machinations at the back...but yeah. Probably only thing organic about him was his brains and eyes and some synthetic flesh ala terminator. ANd yeah those things are called APUs....whatever they stand for.

I played Quake 4 at my friend's place. I was quite impressed with it. It felt like Halo done with the Doom 3 engine. I only played with it for like 1/2 an hour and the stretch I played was near the beginning which ended with you boarding your cap ship, the Hannibal. Pretty cool that you have a squad of marines with you watching your back and you really feel like there's all out war in places other than where you are. Like I said, felt like Halo. Probably more epic than Halo. Fighters whizzing by tailing a Strogg fighter as you make your way through a battlefield and the Strogg fighter gets shotdown and crashes to the ground just nearly missing you. Cool scripting! Much better than Doom 3. Besides, Doom 3 had the misfortune of being the testbed for the graphics engine rather than the storyline, AI, physics or anything else.

I'm probably just abit confused over the heat shield. I thought it was not hinged initially from just watching the OVA . Looks like it is.

There's no special trick, really. Most good gloss paints, acrylic or enamel, should give you a nice shiny finish like that. The hard part is applying it with a nice smooth finish, so you avoid runs, brushmarks or orange peel. 345614 I think there's the trick involved. I never did succesfully apply a nice coat of glossy paint before. Heck, i even had trouble with the clear green paint for my patlabor model.

As the name implies its a custom. Its an Ingram's head on top of a Armored Core mecha. And ironically, an Ingram is a Labor....and the custom DOES look like some kinda laborer. Drifand: Nice GUndam! Those extra bits are all customised?- 80 replies

The Official Aim for the Top! Gunbuster Thread
wolfx replied to Noriko Takaya's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Hey Fort Max. Someone on another forum informed me he got the S.H.E perfect transformation Getter, and it was real flimsy. Is SHE stuff durable at all cause from pictures of the Getter, it looks more like something you wouldn't touch often And of all things, i never expected that you'd get Dann. It isn't the most impressive of mecha designs. -
the part swapping is probably because that thing is most likely a painted prototype and they don't want to stress the resin 345785 I'd like to be optimistic but i doubt it. 1stly, I thought that the heatshield IS the part on top of the canopy. The whole breastplate area along with the heatshield should just drop down onto the canopy, simple transformation compared to the VF-1's heatshield. So assuming that this was true, there shouldn't be any stressing of resin either since the heat shield itself wouldn't have any hinges or moving parts. From the pictures, it looks like the plate does cover the canopy but probably not enough to cover all, and thus requires a seperate piece to cover on top of it. What do u guys think?
-
In fighter mode, the head sticks out alot. And i noticed that the heat shield is a seperate piece, and not that skull thing on top of the canopy. Is it supposed to be like that? 0.o

LOL! If sound can make glass crack, i wonder if there's a frequency high enough to make your brains burst.

Wow...posted today and i'm 3 pages behind! This toy rocks! GO GO YAMATO! SHOW ME GERWALK! I'm liking the picture on the top right. You could never get your 1/48's or 1/60's to do that because the shoulders dont' move forward enough. I'm lovin it.
