I saw 1s episode of zeta tv and scrolled through the beginning of the movie, and noticed how corny the SFX were in the TV series. And in the Zeta movie, they updated all the SFX like boosters firing, beam rifles firing and explosions. Heck even the MS "servo sounds" were changed. EDIT: Slightly related, but anyone know why the vulcan pods are made optional in the MK II when all other gundams always had the vulcans in the head? I got a hold of the TV series from a friend. Should i watch the TV 1s before the movie?

Just watched it. Before watching it i didn't know what to think. Some people said it sucked and others said it rocked. Someone commented it was too PG for him. For me, it was alright. I haven't read the books before but watching the movie, i can see at the heart of this movie were the Christian values of sacrifice. So anyway i heard this might be another triology? Where does the next story pick up?

These are the Evangelion XX or Double X series where they depict angels as girls. So far Satchiel and Zeruel's prototype pics are out, whereas a sketch of Tabris and Lilith (which is Rei ayanami in plugsuit with wings) are out. http://www.gainax.co.jp/goods/angel_xx/index.html And AFAIK, the only other Angels that got figures/models were: Satchiel 1/100 Bandai Zeruel 1/144 Bandai Various bandai gashapons And i guess the rest of the angels aren't really aesthetically pleasing to make toys out of. Like mebbe a floating ball....floating diamond, daddy long legs....eyeball from space....etc.

I'm working on getting ep #20 right now! 17-19 is a great little story arc that really spotlights the building tensions and mystery that still surronds the crew. What gets me isn't how it's Holland VS Renton, but how Holland's using EVERYONE VS Renton's feelings of continous betrayal by a man he respects(worships) and a girl he loves. Has anyone else noticed the increased art quality? I've lost my avatar settings twice. I uploaded an animated GIF to the MW server. The 1st one was gone within a week i uploaded it. Then when I realised it was missing yesterday, I uploaded another one and today its gone again. Something goin on here?

Episode 20 was awesome! I really hated Holland for taking out his poo on Renton. But then later, alot of other people were frustrated , not only Holland, namely Talho. Woah lots of drama going on here. Love it! Love how they depict Holland's childishness vs Renton's childishness. Roxx0rz! But during Renton berserk mode, I was reminded of Evangelion, where Shinji battled Bardiel, (Eva03 infected). The part where he was pulling the controls, the part where he was punching the KLF's head, the part where he looked at the dismembered hand which i was half expecting a scream, but instead a puking sound. w00ts! PS: Funny how the KLF's now bled instead of exploding as usual.

You can't blame em. Back then everyone was more or less a noob and was a small closely knit community. Now that everyone's a vet and the members grew, the questions asked for the 10000000000000000000000th time in a new thread will just get annoying i guess. I just finished it. Its cool to see Tessa come out of "tai-sa" character and be a normal teenager at the end. Every season of FMP should have that...even if its for a split second. Overall a good season. My complaints are: ***SPOILERS*** 1.) WTF....Gaulin is Arnie? He doesn't die does he? I wonder if he comes back from the dead again as a killer cyborg next season..... 2.) Tessa's bro just showed up for an episode and no development on him at all, except he was on Almagam's side. 3.) The twins were not expanded enough....they were just there for fanservice and died with little importance. 4.) Needs more Tessa. 5.) Wasn't Mithril the most technologically superior faction? Seems now there is an Almagam and they were behind everything from the start and they have their Whispered too. 6.) So....uhh...what was Chidori's specialisation as a Whispered again?
