    Same thing happened at the beginning of Crest Of The Stars. In fact, the Hyde system had no choice but to surrender...and ppl still bitch about Jinto's father. Idiots. Which brings me to another topic, the LoGH gunships look alot like the COTS gunships as well.

    I'll ride down lightning storms into tri-pedal mecha I planted ages ago, harvest the indigenous creatures for the greatest steak in this galaxy, then end up with explosive diarhoeaa. If it were me, I'd take the least risk available. If i have space superiority, do some planetary bombardment to soften their defences and then have dropships or individual drop capsules, whichever is more economical. Landing with a cap ship on a planet, nah too risky. Besides most space-borne capships aren't made for planet landings. They're just too huge, this of course is based on sci-fi cliches.

    Wow...looks like this thread is stagnating due to the lack of new good anime. w00ts. Mai Otome!! Throw in fan service....rape...urhh...wrap scenes, good action, and throw in Yuki Kajiura moosik. I have high hopes for this and expect it to follow in its predecessor's footsteps.

    Way cool. You could put black paper decorated with stars and nebulas underneath and it'll look like they're in space. It would be cooler if they had figher wings too.

    I thought the GPM games were great in their terms of non-linearity? Apparently no game has reached that height of non-linearity gameplay and thus its fanbase. You could be the Class president/Combat General, the mechanic, the pilot, or some other role in the classroom, then you get to date different girls, and you see your class diminish as more of your classmates die in battle. Sounds real cool to me.

    You should watch the Another Finale episode then, which sorta focuses on characters other than Densha, like how Matsunaga wound up with one of Saori's friends....and that Hanshin Tigers guy and his personal quest for love.

    For the people who thought the GPM storyline was crap since it never resolved anyuthing about the war between them and the Phantom Monsters, hopefully this sequel will have it. Gunparade Ochestra has a whole new set of characters and what looks like PenPen the penguin in a trenchcoat. The mecha looks cool though. Reminds me abit of Aestivalis. http://www.gpo-anime.jp/

Did you or anyone else tried to climb the temple that you always start in? Apparently there's a secret garden on top of it. Probably nothing important but just a secret to explore.

    I finally found time to finish this 6 part OVA. I'll just say it now, its very Saikano-ish. Girl who is the only pilot for this uber jet fighter that uses anti-gravity, which can turn on a dime, is the only hope for the world to survive against the oncoming alien invasion. THe general public doesn't know about the aliens of course. Then she runs away from her base, meets up with unsuspecting guy, then its love-love mode all the way up till episode 4,5 where they run away and discover more about each other. Episode 6 becomes depressing. But i was disappointed with their open-ended ending. Or mayhap I already knew what happened, but they didn't show it. Its annoying! GAH!! Come on, finish up your shows properly damn you japanime! There was no closure. I want closure! BTW besides the cool looking jet, the Black Manta, I love the OST for this show.
