1. Ramrod was a pretty cool name then....even now....since my head became all smutty. Who remmebers what they actually said during the transformation sequence? I thought it was pretty cool, with the moosik and all. April: "Ramrod Battle Sequence, Go!" *presses button* Voice (which i presume is Ramrod) : "Acknowledged April" "Ramrod Battle Sequence, On" *ramrod's hull/coat opens* *The control consoles drop to the center....they are all dressed in their battle suits* *The consoles start revolving* *something in between here* .................."roll them out" Then it ends with : "Power strike, ready to ride"
2. Ramrod is correct (read alot of sex jokes regarding it over the years ). 350246 Actually no....the japanese version is called Bismarck. OMG Wiki has everything!!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saber_Rider_a...e_Star_Sheriffs

Latest 1/48 GBP Pics

I have received word that the GBP armour will be in my local toy store this saturday! God that's unexpected......there goes my Xmas money.
4. Not sure if its a super robot...i assume so since its "robot of the week" with the same final move each week, one of my personal faves: Ramrod from Saber Rider (or whatever it was called in Japan, some weird name)
5. OMg....i have this standing in one of my displays...unfortunately its old, rusty (don't tell me how it got rusty) missing parts and the connecting bits are abit spoilt. Mmm..the one in that picture just looks so minty fresh.
6. More photos of the other characters here. http://www.efavata.com/CBM/Xmen3.htm
7. I suppose this was already posted? http://www.robotech.com/news/viewarticle.php?id=257
8. I just realised that the Honneamise logo looks somewhat like Aquarion's. XD
9. Gawd its fugly. Maybe the guy who did that xmas display should consider putting in on his display this year.
10. Lacus' slaves. Lacus just happens to be better than Dullindal and with added T&A as well. Well, he did say he was the man who can make the impossible possible, in his defence.
11. Gunbuster.
12. Woah...that hanging body is cool. Complete with hospital beds and wheelchairs. Wicked!
13. Hmmm i might've posted this here before on another thread.
14. Ok....i'm sure not many have seen this, since its not sci-fi. The original Futakoi show was a harem kinda show with a few set of twins who will all....yeah....fall in love with the protagonist guy. And it wasn't even echi or interesting in anyway. *Yawn* Then there's Futakoi Alternative. The OP of the series is an upbeat theme which shows the cast of Futakoi running around firing machine guns, rockets, and missles just causing havoc everywhere. There are Itano Circuses too! Futakoi Alternative revolves around Rentarou Nidaime, some apathetic youth who WAS (keyword here being WAS) an angsty youth who doesn't know what to do with his life until a set of twins show up on his doorstep, and changed his life into one full of bliss and uneventfullness. Well that's the gist of it. The rest is just crazy. I'm quite confused if Futakoi Alt. takes itself seriously or not. In some episodes, it can be quite emo and melodramatic and it can suddenly be offset with some bloody strange and absurd happenings like in one episode, every bathhouse in the world (i think its mostly Japan that has bathhouses... ) has been taken over by bath house terrorists and the protagonists were stuck in one. The emo parts were of course about Rentarou trying to stay together with the twins as some circumstances would cause them to be seperated. What little "action scenes" there were in the show were pretty well done IMHO. There was even Macross and Gunbuster references in the final ep and somewhere in the beginning if you look hard enough. I don't wanna spoil it for you, but the finale was just plain madness. The whole Ika-fire arc just threw me off and in between they were still trying to be emo. Futakoi Alt is definately something different. I'm not sure if its trying to reach FLCL heights here, but this is definately better than the original Futakoi.
15. Those designs are based off sister princess, and bordering on kiddy pr0n.
16. Silent Hill might be one of the best candidates for video game to movie adaptations. I mean...its all there. Story, setting, background, its just too good to mess up really. Heck, Silent Hill the game itself was based largely on movies and books from the horror genre, mainly lending itself alot from the twisted and quite freaky, Jacob's Ladder. But then here comes Hollywood with its evil scythe of film making. Running around town which switches realities here and there, they can really make this film rock. I saw some screenshots of the actual town itself and they had the Bowl-o-rama, the mannequins all done pretty well. Looking at these new screenies however....i'm now casted high in doubt. That 3rd picture where they had the meaty skin hanging there, obviously in the evil dimension, is just too....fake and CG. I mean look at that whole scene. Its like live action actors superimposed into a CG background. Most horrid. >_<
17. If this is not a floppy piece of mess like most of the Zeta renditions are, I'd say that this rendition of Zeta would be THE best one yet. Truth be told i'm bored with the Zeta design. Its probably as common as the RX-79 itself in terms of toy/models of it being released. But this one looks promising. Might be my 1st HCM Pro yet.
18. Are the subs alright enough that you'd understand? I'll get it as long as its not babelfished subs.
19. I completely disagree with you on the dialog. I think the discussions were very interesting and give a lot of perspective to what's happening and a good insite into some modern Japanese views of the war. You're also going to miss out on the big conspiracy that's behind the whole story. The story isn't perfect, but ignoring it outright is senseless. 349566 So urmm...is this out on fansubs or are you guys watching HK DVDs or something?
20. Just watched this yesterday. I have to say its pretty good. Or i am just a sucker for highschool kids being part of a military unit and piloting mecha. Something curious though, from the OP scenes, seems there are people who can summon wolves and big swords ala magic. Magic in GPO? Weird.
21. I think it is. Never watched GGG. But I always thought that design was someone trying to cosplay as Escaflowne.
22. Another new manga expanding on Saikano. Taken from ANN
23. Unfortunately not many saikano fans here it seems. The live action special effects look kinda cheesy, but the trailer showed the final "Shuji alone" scene and I was like....woah...that was done pretty well. ABout those unknown enemies...they were probably on their way to that last bastion of Japan (Hokkaido was it?) when their homebase got blown up by Chise. Chise did mention that those planes coming had nowhere to return to because she incinerated them, so they're all just gonna come to Hokkaido and let loose whatever they ahve left. But i feel it doesn't matter who they were....Americans, Chinese, Russians....the world was at some kinda world war and no one could do anything to stop it. Scary cause this might come true when someone launches the 1s missile......
24. I heard a rumor that Wave TALKED about doing plastic kits... but this was months ago, and in a IRC channel, so it's probably just hopeful speculation on someone's part. And those Chidori and Tessa figures are AMAZING (above pic), any idea where these can be obtained? 348721 Its funny how little merchandise for GONZO stuff there are out there up until recently. Maybe cause FMPF ain't gonzo? Those Chidori and Tessa figs won't be out until May next year. Will inform you guys as i get more info about manufacturer etc.
