Considering tht the flashback was the walkure origin story, its not far fetched that there wasnt any specific 31 types, as the walkure werent a potent fighting force yet. The 31 custom fsw types were comissioned to support the walkure, forming the walkure platoon. Plus arad flies the S type with the double cannon head lasers.

At least the gears on the draken look quite acceptable, liking the green splash he put on the gear lights. Other than the price, am not sure if the finished kit would be robust enough to survive travel via post? If anyone bought one before, perhaps they can share if they received it ok. Thanks for the post noel, reminds me if my wallet coughs up hairballs for the DX, i could go with a cheaper locally painted commission.

It didn't get much airtime, but from what i can tell its a skull leader 31a Other than the insignia, the color scheme seems to be in line as per the regular squads....

OH MY...I m think my fav valk amongst all VF 31's may have just appeared!! Its probably going to be a p-bandai exclusive thingamajig... Whats even better than a 31a?

Thanks, I only had time to look at the link and wow was blown away by all the mechanical details of this valk!Being a kit too i can only imagine if someone really painted all the detail of the vents, joints it would be amazing!! This is my choice for flight pose ftw!! I would really encourage valk heads to go look at all the photos in the link walkthrough...

Interesting comparison of the fighter/battroid indeed by cwmodels. i think the small size of the draken fighter makes it even more nimble than the 31, and its larger battroid would have an advantage of being a bruiser in battroid combat... Looks like the windermariens got the best of each class.. How abt the gerwalk mode?

Tq for the comparison pics vifam! I agree with electric indigo that the ftoy has a nicer side profile on the nose section. The tomy needs a slightly longer nose with more tapering up on the lower side. I myself like a angled parking stance, but the tomy has better defined gears. I dont think it would be difficult for the frontier struts to be shortened via customisation.. the tomy definately tops the details dept and would be more realistic and less toy like looking on display. And when it comes to battroid the gritty look is awesome..

I dunno, these color valks seem a lil plain compared to the 01 and 02 with insignia's I think fast packs would jazz the 03/04/05 up..

Am wondering if snowspeeders could actually fly in that tropical env...besides its obvious namesake..half expecting some speeders to come up and tie the walkers legs heheh... -
I hear you man, dropship, check. lighted, check. floating?? double check! Valks are my priority too, and sometimes its poisonous to check the dang non-macross thread! Hehe i prefer em spaced out, not only for my wallet not to deflate so quickly but time to figure out where to put the darn things!
