Umm if you want to display a gerwalk you will need the 2-mode set. Then you need to add an extra fighter and battroid. And if you want the semi folding back transforming halfway into gerwalk that's another 2 mode set.

I have a feeling ami and HS pre-allocates their stock to the locals beforehand. That or either the JP site version runs much faster and a min or so earlier than the engrish version. Anyway thats the conspiracy trip for the day..

That looks like its been tampoed! Cool...so if looks simple enough to stick on with minimal fuss..I guess it could work on some level for the DX. Plus the link you posted on the LaserJet Waterslide decals look interesting. I might just want to try something on customising a DX, and would need to get it printed on a color laserjet for colors...

cool to hear that, its gonna be quite fun to see customised 31s! Well m looking forward to see if anyone does that. I dont have much time to model but i would be tempted to try and customise one too inbetween my schedule. So from what u expereinced, the stripes should be applied during the build phase itself?

I see.. were the transformers surfaces similar to a DX too? Did you need to add a solvent or coating, to get it to survive handling during transformations...

I dont know if its easy or even possible to do hence the original question. Am no pro modeller..That and i would need to secure a Dx of course. But if its easy or possible, then there would be opportunity to do so even with mirage, chuck or even a 31a... I guess i need an opinion of someone who maybe did customise their DX's before...

There is always the secondary market heheh.. i could even put a giant macross kite on back of the 31 if i wanted to...not that i want to, but you get the drift. If the technique is easy enough, then perhaps the average collector would have an opportunity to do so..

I like messer's reaper emblem better than the knight But i was thinking of utilizing what's available, since i don't print decals, although there are services or material out there. Whether it is difficult to do is a separate question on technique which i have no idea on. Plus its kinda a method of not relying too much on p-bandai and coming up with the customisations yourself. Imagine getting model kit decals and applying them on the valk. The back of the 31 is like a blank canvas waiting to be decalled

Tell me about it. Multiple wallets have been shot down by macross lately. Perhaps bandai priced dougram higher in anticipation of limited numbers being sold to cover back the cost. At least its not a p-bandai..

I realize that but it wouldn't be that small no? Or is there a way to print out another scaled version and decal it on the DX? Can you apply some prime and coat just a specific area without necessary coating the whole valk..

Oh frak I thk I figured out a way to get a episode d05 early...did anyone try applying bandai's kit decals into a dx before? If so maybe a messers reaper emblem could make it to the d05 for a pseudo-reaper..that is if you secured the preorder...canon emblem notwithstanding

Just for kicks, is anyone gonna try swapping back decals around on the 31's? Ie messers reaper making it into hayate's 31, instead of the knight-ish reaper, or arad's skull decal into chuck's 31.. Or....any delta platoon back decals into the SV's! Granted the SV's dont have a flat back as larger as the 31....

Considering they rectified the leg issue in the 0S, it shows that arcadia can learn from their mistakes. Of course, if they just did a straight re-paint of the old SV-51 for a CF version, then you would know what you are getting. it depends on what a re-do means to arcadia..

I betcha P-bandai marketing is now in the works! Not that it would slow down the orders of the D05 and the D02 one bit, but i think the D05 grim reaper version might rock better than the D02, in terms of color scheme. However it doesn't have the same emotional weight as it only appeared in the last episode. Lastly............i havent seen it yet but as far as i can tell...... NO FRAKKING ARMORED VALK!
