Really liking the semi-gloss(?)-ish grey coat on the 51 from your close up pics.. am wondering that too, it doesnt look like anything significant has changed, except perhaps dark colored intake blades...will await arcadia's promotional blogs which normally shed light on their valks leading up to release...

*RUBS EYES* 1) is the color changed or is it a camera white balance illusion? 2) Weathered?? 3) rounding up....40k! Man if its true the color changed and is weathered,...tough call...i already gave up when i saw the price, but then 1) and 2) questions came in.... that might sway me if true....

i wish the upvote buttons were around...+1 for the compilation The two hexa designs on the blow superior missile panels irked me a bit, as it didnt look like it quite fit in design wise. However all the other design cues such as color and stripes were spot on! I am so wishing someone would just open up the panels and display the missiles! The legioss has that chunky look, definately want to see fighter as well b4 committing...

I would like if the special stand would also be done for Roy...skull logo and all in fact I thk a row of stands would look nice as a fighter collection.. ia dilemma indeed, every PO needs to be in multiples, if you want more than fighters...

With titles like these I have learnt not to refer to reviewers too much...they might be too young to appreciate an old style script... Besides Alita taking out an eye was worth the price of admission!

Watched it and alita rocked! Eyes did not bug me out one bit.. Been a while since I last saw the anime and flipped thru the manga but this brought memories flooding back ... reminded me of how rich the background/storyline was in spite of the violence...

Hehe will have to see how "powerful" the bandai hype machine is, if bandai decides to produce it. I didnt watch M7 back in the day, so effects on me might be a tad bit muted... From collection point of view though, the kai being a principal character valk, it should sell well, especially if you want hero valk representation from every macross show... -

SDFM/DYRL > Delta, the VF-1 has a popularity/nostalgia upper hand. However new VF-1 releases need to come with significant differentiating factors, in light of many VF-1 releases by everyone.... In this case the tampo, improved robustness, larger scale and pricing are the winds in the sails of the VF-1 chogokin...not to mention the overall positive fan-dom acceptance... Strategically, yes, i think bandai was somehow trying to get the piece of the after market VF-1 pricing pie. That being said, am glad they put in some innovation (sculpt,design,articulation, pricing) in their offering enough to overcome risks of VF-1 demand saturation. I certainly hope bandai will continue to crank out vermillion squadron........
