I've been doing my comparisons between the two blu-rays and I think the picture quality on the first blu-ray release looks better on my setup (more film-like). At the beginning of chapter three, Breetai's face looks more blurred (DNR?) in the new release. There are other scenes (like the Saturn joyride) that look much better in the first release. I really don't understand why they would add more DNR to this release?

I just got my Orguss and Cat's Eye discs (vols. 1 & 2) from Right Stuff yesterday. Haven't really watched them yet because I'm recovering from having 4 wisdom teeth extracted. I did glance over episode 1 of Orguss and the picture quality is about the same as Geneon's Lupin the 3rd.

Yeah, this sucks but these game were unlockables in the Japanese PS2/GameCube Sonic Gems Collection. So if you got a Japanese or modded PS2/GameCube, I would recommend searching for this compilation.

Since I haven't seen any episodes of Macross Zero (will somebody please release this series domestically), this art book will be my first real exposure to series. Btw, my copy shipped yesterday from Amazon too!

You said it, I'm definitely going to be buying the soundtrack to this game and Castlevania: Curse of Darkness.

What's up with the lizards in this game? Is shoot them with an arrow and their tail is left behind after they die. Is there any point to collecting their tails?

I found this one on the recently released Megazone 23 part 3 dvd.

I gotta get that Superbit version (I recently got a HDTV) for its cleaner picture and thunderous sound (DTS baby!) - I don't need all those extras.
