Man wish I could help. I put mine back in the box after leaving it in fighter mods for a few day due to space. My old Yamato one is also not accessible atm.

Then it may not become the next VF-4, if the sales continue like this. The VF-4G just did not have enough time on market or numbers really, I am so glad I bought 2 of them. Now if we could somehow get Arcadia to release the flashback scheme

Well since my birthday is in feb, maybe I can somehow justify 2 of these @ the high price. The wife is definitely not going to see this invoice lol. Placed an order for 2 on HLJ, I am never ordering from Amiami again. CDJ came out to US$ 659.49 EMS with me adding 3769 points to the order, so I will save my points for another item. NY looks to be one of the better places for all of our international comrades, they will declare a low value for you guys that need it.

Has anyone tried the combined order system on NY yet? Does it reduce the shipping charges or do they just put it all in one box and gouge you?

I'm ok with the air brake, the thing that bothers me the most with the newer releases is the lack or clear parts on the wings. Can be observed when looking at the battroid pic near the bicep.

I agree that the Bandai Konig Monster stand adapter is very flimsy and I would not trust it at any of the off axis angles that your stands provide. Maybe if you made a specific arm setup for the Monster to limit the angles it may be a feasible solution. I can imagine people trying to position the monster at extreme angles and having the monster fall off and hit the floor.

I was honestly debating getting this, but decided it's a no go. Kinda strange though as I buy all the releases for a while now, but I already have 2x of the old Yamato version and 1x of the sound booster. I really feel like Arcadia took a mis step releasing this one so soon. I hope this does not make them think that older Macross franchise toys are not that popular and they scale back if these sit on shelves. As for the VF-11 MAXL, I would take one, I get that it has boobs but they are not just boobs they are speaker pods. When Sound force is not equipped with the sound boosters they all have stock locations with the smaller speaker arrays. Basara's valk has them in the shoulder's, Mylenes got the speaker boobs, and Ray has the huge uni-boob. I guess they could have put them on the thighs on the MAXL? Seems they would interfere with the intakes in that location. When I look at the structure of the MAXL the chest looks like the most practical place to put the speakers. The forward canards would be too thin to place them there, and the shoulders are tiny.

Damn, now I gotta figure out how many to buy lol. I think this will be another expensive one, but I think I need at least 2.

I know how you feel Micky, I probably would have cancelled too if I felt I was not going to secure one. I would rather not take the chance that I never get a valk and have to go in to the aftermarket.

Anyway you look at it, the protoculture are Aliens to the human race. The people of the Mayan islands looked at it from a spiritual stand point and not a scientific one. As far as I can tell the Mayans are an ancient civilization that refused science because of the spiritual connection. So instead of trying to explain everything scientifically they based their creation story on the events of the protoculture arrival in ancient times. Also a lot of people think that there is magic going on in this OVA, but all of the mystical events are directly related to the protoculture tech that is buried under the ocean around the islands. Song energy effects the ancient artifacts found all over the island. -

Well I basically told them I wanted the parts, and replied again to the ticket and told them that I would make a new order and pay it off. They responded to me late after I already did that and said that it was ok tp place another order. I did not get my exp point back though lol. I am guess that is what the exp points are for? The more you have the more you can miss payment maybe? I also noticed the mark next to the cancellation looks different from the ones that I asked to have cancelled.

I agree that a new 1/48 line would be over kill for me. I find that it is harder to display a lot of 1/48's due to space limitations. I also agree that 1/60 is better for playability.

I like the 1/60's all around, but I do think the 1/48's look better in fighter mode.

Oh snap! I forgot to pay my pre-order @ NY for the Ozma YF-29 Supers and they cancelled my order . I created a ticket though explaining the circumstances and told them that I made a new order and paid it off. I did notice I lost one of my points though for the cancellation they made on my account. I hope they are cool about it and don't give much of a hassle, it's not like I have not spent several thousands of dollars on toys from them over the years.
