Yeah man, the head sculpt was the primary reason I wanted it. The second reason is the unique color scheme to break things up in my display, it really looks like the test scheme of the YF-16.

Does it come with an articulated nuke receptacle lol. The Cain "Robocop 2" Statue looks really impressive, but as others have said the toynami name is scaring me away from this one.

I wasn't defending them for how the customer service is currently. I thought I read somewhere during the YF-29 Ozma fiasco that they got shafted on a ton of the pre-orders or something like that. I did not order from them at that time so I missed all that. In the past I have not really had any problems getting things done with them, but again I have not tried to cancel anything recently. Last time I needed to reorganize an order (combine) I just placed a new order with the items because they were a lower price than when I pre-ordered and I wanted all 3 items to ship together for a lower shipping rate. I then told them to cancel it because I combined the items in to a new order and they were cool about it. I also agree that they do have scalper prices once you miss the first few rounds of whatever item you are ordering. God forbid an item sits there for a while, like the $900.00 VF-4G they had listed. So calm down guys, don't act like I am the almighty holy defender of NY because i'm not.I have voiced my opinions in the past about them. The last post I made was an assumption based on what I thought I read in some earlier post's, hence the "I think the whole scalpers ordering up all the Ozma YF-29's and cancelling them made NY change the policies. I always thought they were a small outfit, so I bet that burned them. I also added: "The best thing they could do is just ask for a non refundable deposit for all pre orders. I think that may scare away the scalpers, but I could be wrong." That was just something I suggested that they could do to maybe deter that problem. Now as far as allowing people to fix their orders I think that should be something they are willing to do with ease. And yes I am kinda forced to use them for web exclusives also.

Not sure, but I had the feeling this one would not be selling like the Ozma 29 or anything, you may just need to be on the lookout constantly checking the major web shops.

From what I could tell in earlier pics, they used gold to represent the diecast parts on the new mold.

Yeah as far as I know 2oldfortoys was another user that he was doing cross reviews on gundam kits. I forgot where 2oldfortoys was from, but yes he is another user altogether.

I have also already stated that A) It was a kit and B) the the photo looks like a washed out scan. I don't know why it keeps getting posted when we are talking about a Chogokin and not a kit. I hope they do repaints, I usually squad build but would hate to do that with a bunch of the same schemes unless they are CF schemes. I wish they had variants on the YF-30, like D/A/J/S or A/F/S/G/RVF??.

The hello kitty item was not a valk, but it was labeled as a Chogokin product. I remember when I saw it come up for pre-order, I was like huh what?!?! I wonder if any collectors actually pre-ordered it.

I am always scared to miss out on at least getting 1, so I pre-order. I am seriously thinking about a second, but will wait and see, not like I really need it lol. I wonder if this will be all that popular though with random sites still able to take in pre-orders.

CDJ has opened and closed the pre-order multiple times. I think they are opening up when they are assured they can get more.

Maybe the re sellers put in large orders? They were not necessarily made to order per person, but made to order based on what the re sellers ordered. I know I would have ordered enough to have stock after all the customer pre-orders were fulfilled to satisfy the market. Would suck to lose out on sales because you only focused on the people that pre-order. Not everyone does the pre-order rush like most of us do. I know quite a few people that feel like they are OK just waiting for them to release and then order them then. Me, I don't like to risk missing out on adding something to my collection I know I want, so I just play the game.

I have only taken mine to half gerwalk mode once when it originally came out. I remember the paint apps being OK and did not detect anything out of the ordinary. Scyla, was yours single taped or double taped? I am not implying that double tape means you get a bad unit though, but If you peel the tape carefully when it is double taped, you may find that the first tape was cut. I also check that it is the same exact tape. One time I did get a double taped one but it was perfect.

With CDJ I normally pay it off and choose a slower shipping method so it is comparable to other places prices. (when they are not on discount) I Have not had any problems with them so far, only thing that sucks is the high EMS. I am pretty jacked on space atm so the slower the better for me.

Are you sure? It always seems like a Monday in JP for pre-orders. This means I am usually up on a Sunday night / Monday morning trying to get a toy lol.
