I don't know, but since I can't find another VF-25G for a decent price, when my tornado parts come in for the 25G I may just move the super parts over to one of these YF-25's and put the tornado parts on the 25G.

So maybe I am wrong, but I thought after the Focker event before he got the VF-1S he escorted Misa using a VF-1J super. Maybe my memory is not serving me as good as it used too, sorry for the mis info lol. Or maybe it really was the VF-1S with super parts after the Focker event.

I would soooo take a set for fighter mode. I already messaged my buddy in JP begging that he attends WF. Fat chance, but I am trying at least.
-
Watch again, Hikaru uses them in an episode.
-
Hey Duymon, have you thought about making this a shapeways project? Would be pretty awesome.
-
C'mon Tking, don't give up! The VF-25's are not really that hard to transform, is there maybe an off chance that you got a defective one? There are also lots of videos out there for transformation if the manuals are not helping you out.

I also prefer my YF-21/VF-22's in fighter mode. If Arcadia revisits the 21/22 series I would like to see bigger legs.
-
Thanks for the info Jenius.

Looking closely though they look like they are still detached, but close to being locked in.
-
It's whatever scale the Robot spirits/Damashii <Side VF> series toys are. Did they ever mention the scale of those toys?
-
Lol renton, I see what you did.
-
^^ That statement makes no sense at all. The VF-0 is a huge fighter, so it is near the size of a 1/48 VF-1. When put next to a 1/60 VF-1 it will scale properly but look big. Heck even a VF/YF-19 makes the VF-1 look tiny. Maybe it's just me, but I like my Macross toys to scale with each other.

Still not so sure about the intakes just hanging out while in gerwalk mode, I guess we will see.

I opened and transformed one of the two I got. I really like this valk, the color is not nearly as bright as it was shown in the photos and I love that. I noticed that this is prob the least greasy valk I have gotten from the DX Bandai renewals. I did not notice any glaring paint blemishes either. The joints on everything are tight on mine, the wing hinge seemed tighter than my Ozma YF-29's so I would say be cautious during that part of the transformation. I worked them back and forth carefully and they feel great now. My arms seem tighter than even the 1x VF-25A I took out of it's box and played with so far. Overall the QC on my sample was pretty damn good. When you look at this thing at the right angles the tampo is pretty amazing. **Edit** I forgot to mention how happy I was to find that the rubbery head sensors/antenna are not bent in a weird position. I don't even have to use the included hard plastic ones.

LOL this photo will never die!
-
Yeah the RVF-171 did not have any ghosts at all.
-
Yeah that's what I though. I did not seer this release as being very hard to get if you made at least a 1/4 of the effort that it takes to secure one.
-
That what all my valks do when we are not looking lol. So this one is not still available all over the place like I thought it was going to be? I thought this one would be widely available.
-
I got both of my units in today, I got one from CDJ and one from NY. Surprisingly they followed each other neck and neck to get here at the same time.
-
Yep the monster was meant to scale with the Robot Damashii <Side VF>. We all got kinda screwed though as they did not finish out the series. They had an Ozma armored version that got cancelled and I never saw any mention of Luca. So I ended up getting Pixie squad, Alto Super and Michael Super.
-
I am too lazy and do not have enough time for gunpla, I just buy the metal builds although the selection is limited. I'm glad you are having a great time with valks, but the obsession can be very expensive lol.
-
David, I was not even really referring to NY. I just commenting on the statement that sreichma made about being pissed that if he bought and allocated stock for someone and they backed out. Ulessa, I think it's great that we are getting so much Macross stuff. I remember back in the day when I dreamed of getting a valk, but the prices were insanely high due to the rarity and the drought of Macross toys. I agree with the pricing thing too for stores like NY and such. They should go no higher than RRP, if anything a pre-order discount would make the best sense.
-
Kind of on the fence about this one, I hope there are improvements of some sorts. I already have the older SP version and all the Side <VF> toys to go with it including a completed pixie squad. I don't know how another one will fit in to my collection. I will wait until we learn more about it.

I was referring to this statement made by sreichma. There were some shenanigans with people ordering whole cases of valks then the buyer backed out. Did not really want to go in to details or rub salt in old wounds. But that statement reminded me of that type of situation.
