There will be... there will be....

Shouldn't be too tough with customers like me lol. I tend to buy all the valks, even multiples some times. I honestly hope that Arcadia stays afloat though, we need multiple vendors of PT valk toys. I think Arcadia could be really sucessful if they would just release the right items at the right time. As for now it seems a lot of the releases they chose to go with are not as desired as say like the Elint, Ostrich, M&M and Virgin road or even the VF-1D. I think if they would have chosen to release those ASAP they would have a good pile to sit on.

There is the Grace custom and the CF version, they both have different heads and modex numbers.

Bandai joints get loose, even if you use epoxy

So they do have the NUNS markings though right? I am still not clear on that part.

Hurry up Bandai, announce the VF-25G now for maybe a March release lol. I need at least 1 more for the Tornado set I bought, I refuse to mess with the one I have now and would rather just leave the Supers on that one.

I ended up pre-ordering a GFFMC RX-78-02 The Origin, I could not pass it up lol.- 6025 replies

I think people may be willing to spend $15 for a set if they have the NUNS logos already on there. I mean, I would spend $15 to repair a toy that is $100+.

I personally choose EMS 9 out of 10 times. If I am just ordering something I already have a copy of I will use registered air mail just to save a few pennies. One though about being in the NW is that if I choose anything besides EMS the package will pass through the dreaded LAX customs which can sometimes take a week or more just to pass through there. When I choose EMS it always goes through SFO customs and makes it on it's way the same day.

I decided I will just stick to the one I bought with the separate VF-1J and the missile effect parts armor set. I really don't need another one of these for now.

Yeah I think the "glowing" that blocks the shots goes all the way back to SDFM. If you watch all of the series minus Mac Zero you will notice that pin point barrier technology advances through the years. It can be used offensively and defensively. That is one of the things I love about Macross, you can see technology advance through the years without them having to hit you over the head with it. Allowing the viewer to notice that things are advancing over the timeline.

It would be cool though if it did come with the DYRL hands, we already got the TV hands the first time around.
-
maybe the join was too tight causing it not to fold? Sorry to see this happened to you.
-
Yeah SF customs is the best for me also, cannot stand the LA customs office lol. My stuff will always land in LA unless I choose EMS.
-
I already have 2 of the old version from Yamato, and even with the discounts I cannot justify owning this release and I tend to buy all the Macross toys lol. I would still love to own all the little figures though, but would like valks to go with them all too. It could make a pretty nice display having all of the band members and all of the sound force valks behind them. I still think they should have made a drum set for Vefidas though.

That's pretty cool Mike, I have never seen this pic.

And creepy dolls... I love the stuff that Yamato/Arcadia puts out, I hope they do bring out a competing 1/100 scale line against the HI-Metals. The only stuff I like in the Hi-Metal line so far are the destroid's and the enemy mecha. I am kind of turned off of the line though because the VF-1's don't look right to me at all.

If Eugene's character is going to follow the comic, he is definitely a good resource to have around later. I am hoping they at least follow that one part of the comic. If not, I would agree that he could become useless.

I think I will stick to my rule of one of each of the 29 schemes on this one as well. I tend to buy multiples when I can build recognizable squadrons, but the 29's seems so random between the one actual scheme that was on the movie and the rest being from the game or an anniversary scheme. Not a big fan of the visor, but will most likely leave this in fighter mode any way. I actually see the YF-29 as the precursor to the VF-25 Renewal's and feel it in the very same category as far as mechanisms and build quality. You just get more gimmicks on the 29.

All 3 of mine showed up today from CDJ and NY. Have not taken them out of the bubble wrap yet, but they were packed pretty good.
