  1. Oh, that. Well, I expect it to be tighter out of the box like the last VF-25 releases, but IMO nothing will deliver us from easy scratch-able paint and eventual floppiness over time. I inspected yesterday an extra MISB copy I had that's a floppy mess out of he box. Although I don't know what causes it, my conclusion is that your copy won't remain tight only by keeping it untouched.
  2. Technically speaking I believe the horizontal stabilizers are replaced by single/multiple-axis thrust vectoring; high-thrust vernier thrusters; low-thrust vernier thrusters; canards; angled ventral fins; angled vertical stabilizers and/or the combination of some or all of them. Aesthetically speaking, I concede they can sometimes look a bit lacking.
  3. Which flaws if I may ask?
  4. I'm so sorry to hear we've lost one of our fellow members. RIP.
  5. Amazing job!!!
  6. I guess it's not necessary to say something is ugly only because you don't like it.
  7. Oh! Thanks for clarifying it was the nose you were talking about. I had spent several minutes trying to find ANY similarity
  8. Nice!
  9. Loved the Lego stand too. Great idea!
  10. Hey, "Cannon Fodder", he probably doesn't mind to be called like that but he's actually better known as Duymon
  11. So this long ago buried thread has been resurrected to say what?
  12. !!! Yeah, more pics and less blah, blah, blah!
  13. Looking better and better!
  14. Wow, Experten never fail to impress me! Amazing little kits! Have we ever seen a transformable VF-14 before? Certainly not me...
  15. Cool. Thanks a lot 505thAirborne!
  16. Sorry for hijacking this thread but do these stands work with the Yamarcadia© 1/60 VF-1s?
  17. Amazing job, congratulations!!!
  18. I'm really longing to come back to this thread and find some YF-19 related news and pictures.
  19. I used it because that's the term used in the description from MMM I posted before (see http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=39470&p=1090628) . Although I think it's an appropriate term when they include boosters (VF-1/11/17/25), in this case I think SP is better.
  20. All valks since VF-1 used thermonuclear engines that operate as described by Anime52k8 and not jet engines functioning according to standard jet propulsion principles. So the valks that benefit from OverTechnology carry their own gas supply to replace atmospheric air when operating in space and that's what you've seen in those numerous instances you mentioned. The FPs aren't completely necessary in space, their interest lies in that the extra gas charge allows greater autonomy. YF-19's FPs also provide extra protection, manoeuvrability and armament, even in an atmosphere..
  21. That's because the FP have additional fuel, which doesn't mean the valk doesn't have any.
  22. It's amazing how everything changes by using wide-angle lenses. Regarding the variant spelling lense which is sometimes seen, according to this while it is listed as an alternative spelling in some dictionaries, most mainstream dictionaries do not list it as acceptable .
  23. I think I saw something of the sort in the OVA.
