  2. Have you ever had or handled a Yamato 1/72 VF-11B...if so, that is pretty much how it feels and looks....
  3. Are you looking into making a 1/6 scale type of figure? With armor, cloth clothing, etc? Or more of a statue like figure? Either will be cool and I would be interested in one if made available for purchase.....although I would personally prefer the TV version Britai... Unfortunately, all I have are character sheets for Macross Fever version Britai.....i am sure you can find DYRL version pics in several of the DYRL art books...I can take a look later if you haven't found what you need by then...
  4. The Macross UN Spacy capital ships doujins are really nice. Three released so far as far as I have seen. I wouldn't be surprised if they go onto the enemy ships next. Here are the other two....

yeah...there's the Scout...but I was thinking more in terms of the 2 missile pack swappers.... Definitely need the Scout..... That would be great...I hope they also come with new tenjin boxart!

  9. Thanks...not really into the Macross doujins...but Romancer's appreciation of Mikimoto's old school style makes them hard to resist.
  10. I was trying to post a link to something...anything from it....but they all seemed to have vanished...in terms of Macross media...it doesn't get any more niche than the Musicalture...

Perhaps a Macross Delta DX version coming soon to a PO near you?
  12. Fury Road is to the Original Mad Max trilogy what TFA is to the Original Star Wars trilogy...it's debatable which one is a bigger ripoff of itself.

Mechanical Chain Bases by Kotobukiya.....you need to "chain" them together to make a decent sized hangar for 1/60 sized valks I also have some of the H-Hangar bases made by Wave, which must also be connected to several others in order to accomodate 1/60 valks.....they are OK, but not as nice looking as the bases by Kotobukiya....I think maybe if you painted them a darker color they would look much better....

It's looks good enough to me.....like some of the 1/72 accessories that match up really well with 1/60 Macross stuff...I even threw in some 1/48 figures in the pic below...they belong to are the all-Zentran support crew! I might have to buy some of those building....looking forward to seeing your completed diorama...

Very nice....who makes the mini buildings? What scale are they? They scale really well with the 1/100-ish HMR line......yet another reason to get the HMR line....easy dioramas! We need a dedicated ALL DIORAMA thread... .
  17. I was going to post something on that order...sometimes he out-Mikimotos,,,Mikimoto! Especially when he does the "early" Mikimoto stuff (SDFM/DYRL-era) which I still prefer to all of the style changes Mikimoto has gone through over the years...the most recent change done for Macross the First is pretty good... However, Romancer seems to struggle with capturing the look of Ebata's style for Macross Frontier...although he seems to get it right sometimes....
  18. Diva doujin by Romancer....
  19. Does anyone know if they ever released a CD or Video for this Macross show?
