    So is there some physical limitation, as in proximity to the being using/disturbing the Force, that will either allow you to "sense" their utilization/disturbance of the Force or not? This seems to be the case, at least with Vader....as the same thing happens when Luke arrives at Endor durig ROTJ. Additionally, it would explain why Obi-Wan could remain undetected on Tatooine while still using the Force to "learn" from Qui-Gon during the "Dark Times".... However, it seems to be contradicted when Alderaan gets blown up light-years away from Kenobi....similarly how Leia senses Han's death..... I am sure it can all be explained via Midichlorians!

    This may eventually be retconned in the coming movies, books and/or whatever other media Disney will require you to purchase to "get the whole story".... If they come up with some nonsense regarding Luke being able to camouflage Rey's mind/block Rey's memories of being a Jedi-in-training.....then that would also help in explaining why Luke and Leia were able to remain "hidden" from Vader and the Emperor for so long during the "Dark Times"....heck....the Emperor was able to hide in plain sight during the Clone Wars from the most powerful Jedi's of the time....so same concept I guess.....

    Haven't seen Rebels yet but looking forward to binge watching it soon....I really liked the recent teaser that was posted..... Unfortunately, due to Disney wanting to expand the universe "officially" to include all other forms of media beyond the films....you are now limited as to what is "canon" as Disney now clearly wants to have more control of it........with that said, and until proven otherwise, I prefer to think Vader simply did not possess that "skill"...if you want to say that he did, then you'd have to question why he would not have had the same reaction that Kylo did with Rey...meaning it would have been obvious to Vader that Leia was way stronger than "normal" with the Force.....thus tripping warning signs for him and possibly, if he shared his findings, with the Emperor.....I wouldn't surprise me if ANH gets retconned to fit in with the ST in several ways.....they have done away with one EC in exchange for another...except this time we are being told from the start it is "canon"....so purchase as much as you can into it!

    I said it was a "stretch" because I was replying to wether or not Leia gave up any information as a direct result of interrogation....clearly she did not....your second reply seems to agree with that although I still think they would not have succeeded via interrogation of anykind..... However, the only reason they got what they wanted was due to Leai allowing them to track them all the way to Yavin.....they would have had nothing had they killed her as Tarkin wanted...so you are probably right, Tarkin was too quick in "giving up"..... When did they use Force mind reading in Episode 4???? Sounds like you may be wanting to retcon Episode 4 to fit in with Episode 7....LOL You are apparently trapped by only what you see on film and do not have enough of an imagination to envision how RO may end to tie-in with ANH...although maybe you only "inject supposition and hypothesis" it if it suits your argument......Thus, not sure how you cannot imagine a "hand-off" occuring over Tatooine orbit....Are you saying that there is no way a ship could be destroyed on the other side of Tatooine NOT shown during the opening sequence of ANH???? Wow! Apparently, in your mind ships can only rendezvous on one location around a planet's orbit.... And just so you are not confused...it is just speculation.....it does not mean it is going to happen that way....relax

    Kind of a stretch..... And if you are referring to the Falcon being tracked....no info was "extracted" from her during interrogation....again....stretching.... Kinda funny as this whole silly debate started with my speculation regarding the possibility of the RO ship being "tracked" to a potential rendezvous point over Tatooine....LOL!!!

    Ummmmm.....it was a bust....lol...Plus, Vader tried getting info from Leia before....didn't end too well for Vader & Co. Additionally, Vader vowed to the Emperor that Luke would join them or die....why would he care if Leia happened to die in his scheme to get at Luke? In fact, he probably would have had her and Chewie executed had his plot actually succeeded....he knew based on previous experience that Leia would have died before giving up any real info..... And not to open up another can of worms....but why didn't Vader utilize the same "interrogation" techniques employed by his future emo grandson?

    Are you suggesting that Luke, having travelled all the way from Dagobah based on a vision of his friends in trouble, would have arrived on Bespin....seen none of his friends....decide to chalk it up to a boneheaded rookie Jedi mistake....and head back to Dagobah?Not only that, but Vader, in an emo-like fit, much like those of his future grandson....would have let him go because his "plan" did not go exactly like he wanted it to? Uh-huh....

    Yeah....Vader's plan would have completely unraveled if Chewie had been shot and/or killed.... Heck.....that's not the only thing that doesn't apply in Star Wars movies.....logic and commonsense are high up there too....but we love them so it's all good!

Tatooine.....home of the crime lord Jabba the Hutt.....bastion of spies, scum and villainy.....folks willing to sell you out for some credits.....yet no one in the time Luke SKYWALKER arrived to where we see him in ANH....cought onto the LAST NAME of the famous "Star pilot and warrior" from the clone wars???? No one passed on that odd bit of info to the Empire about some kid named SKYWALKER living with the LARS???? Why take the risk of having Luke keep his last name (other than as a plot device).....why wasn't Leia allowed to keep her last name.......oh yeah, because that wouldn't make sense either....

    Your "extra" Sylvie preorder was what made ET decide to proceed with releasing the SAP with Pixie valk....now that you cancelled it....the anticipated interest has been severely miscalculated...the rest of the line is now doomed...You need to order a second Faerie valk to ensure the "green" one gets released next and save the line!

    Yep....none of this is "real"...just having some fun speculating on possible scenarios....relaxBesides....this is Star Wars....logic gets thrown out the window for the sake of the plot....what else would Leia do if caught red-handed? She'd deny it to the end....look at the whole Dantooine scene.... Also...if you want to start picking apart the story...why would Vader not stop by the Lars homestead? Drops by and sees a teen named "Skywalker"...looks like him or his wife...about the same age as he should be if he would not have died all those years ago...."senses" Kenobi....yep...forget logic....suspend disbelief.....know that the new showrunners are going to borrow as much material from the OT as possible to keep the old fans giddy with nostalgia but different enough to not be complete plagiarism....lol

    LOL....so none of this is plausible to you because it wasn't shown in ANH? Use your imagination....RO transmits the data to Leia's ship in a scene that precedes the moment where ANH begins....RO ship gets blown up too as previously described since it already transmitted data...making it useless....the data is now on the Tantive IV... Thus Vader's transmission query....caught red-handed! Eventually they figured out the plans were in the droids....same plot copied in TFA...

    Red-handed? Well...not sure what else you would call getting caught with plans you just stole....Vader seemed to think they had them...I would think once RO have the plans....the object would be to get them to the Rebel base via someone that the Empire would not suspect....thus they meet up with leia at a spot "furthest away from the center of the universe"...and also where Leai knew where Kenobi was....so I think she intended to take Kenobi back, recruit as you say, to Yavin to figure out what to do with the plans Watch the opening sequence of ANH again....with the premise of RO in mind....Vader wanted the ship torn apart until they found the plans...he knew they had them...I don't think it was a coincidence that they came upon that ship....above Tatooine.....and Vader just happened to be on that Star Destroyer cruising around Tatooine.... If anything....this reboot of the franchise is probably going to borrow several elements from the existing canon sources.....tracking devices being one of them....wouldn't doubt it if Boba Fett himself will be the one that placed it or tracks the RO ship to my proposed rendezvous point idea above Tatooine....
