I don't see them trying to get away with that with the VF-1D.....it would negate the R for Respect on what is arguably one of the most iconic VF's in SDFM....let alone the entire franchise.....they'll squeeze a VR out of it....probably as a websclusive....god knows you'll never see one from Arcadia!

SuperO and Elint would use the same cockpit design..... Bandai would need a new design for the VF-1D cockpit.....but it could easily milk it with a Virgin Road....

We are due for a pure DYRL release....either the SuperO and/or Elint or the DYRL VF-1A Skull Squadron will get selected for regular release or get the websclusive treatment.....maybe after the Tomahawk.... My vote would be for websclusive skull squad.....again

    HM-R(esistance is futile)
  5. I hope so. I'm guessing retailers may have a different opinion. Save was at one point speaking with ET about this line, but not sure if he has received any additional info recently.
  6. This is the cover for the Animage portfolio..... Hanken on YJA.... Seems to be missing a bit off the bottom....
  7. Yep... You know...every time I see your avatar it reminds me that I need to post up some new Morinaga Chocolate kits that I recently acquired....the boxart used is artwork from Masami...like the one in your avatar...love those illustrations.....pure nostalgia!
  8. Green was the one that has yet to be released....seems unlikely now, but you never know.....so have the Blue, Yellow, and Red....
  9. No idea....to me the pic looks like the veil material and pearls are "real" as in an actual photograph of the veil material and actual pearls...not drawn....so as to be some sort of mixed media artwork.....if I ever meet Mikimoto I'll ask him!
  10. Congrats! I too was finally able to snag a Nexx VF-2SS cheap via YJA....in order to satisfy my inexplicable desire for the complete set! .....but have left it in it's box for now....I have the rest of them so I am well aware of it's shortcomings.... All said, it definitely is a very nice display piece. It looks great with all it's armor attached. I recall someone placing it on a flightpose stand and it did the job well. Is the included stand not up to snuff? I never even tried it.
  11. Even with the weak JPY...still pricey....I'd be tempted at half or less Seems legit....what do you think?

Bandai started with the Destroid Monster.....and I'm really glad Bandai was crazy enough to release that Destroid first! The rest will come....maybe one will be a websclusive...but I am hoping this one is the websclusive.....
  14. Seems there has been plenty of news recently about third party "Macross" toys......you will just have to ignore the Robotech branding....

Think of it as just adding more Macross to your collection..... Do you really want to miss out on the most complete "in scale" SDFM collection ever made or ever will be made? And I won't even get started on these...well, maybe just a little.....
  16. Don't do it....just frame it and enjoy it. Since there is no matching background it actually looks cool with the matching pencil sketch peeking behind it. I assure you both the cel and stuck douga will outlast you in its current state!
  17. Just caught up with SWR....I am really enjoying it. I like how they are handling the Force and it's various users and groups. It helps make some sense to the stuff being referred to in the new Disney SW films (new SW canon). I really like Ahsoka....when she tells Vader she is no Jedi....it gave me hope that she is still around post ROTJ.....since Yoda would technically be correct in saying Luke was the last "Jedi".....which means even Ezra could show up before the Skywalker saga is concluded.....
  18. very nice. I'd stop worrying about any "vinegar" smell and simply frame and display it.
  19. You lost all your "Spanner quotes" bargaining power!
  20. 100% agree. And thanks to JetJockey....I am reminded that I have about 20 or so old home movies on Super-8 that I still need transferred to DVD. I think I would be more upset if any of those became un-transferable compared to my cels disintegrating.....
