  1. I think there were a couple more FB2012 cels that recently ended that also featured a Minmay looking away....but those went for half the price of this one.....still high though....I will try and post the links
  2. https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/u238831850 Not sure if the "winner" really was hoping to win this one by 1 yen.....LOL
  3. ...except Bandai considers the TV and DYRL VF-1S Roy to be colored differently....have to milk that mold you know! They did the same thing with the TV and DYRL VF-1J....
  4. Hope their "plans" are equivalent to an HMR's "display only"
  5. Old news on the HMR thread
  6. It's a Japanese Macross tradition!

    Thought it was shot off.....
  8. 1/48 VF-1D would be a first....at least for now we have an HMR -1D coming

Nice....chain bases still can't be beat....a shame the HMR's don't come with a hanger section

If Tenjin adapted that pic...he'd tease the Soldier and a TV Roy! But I think a scene of the VF-1D with Minmay in-hand would be cool nicer! Poor Tomahawk and Phalanx.....passed over yet again! Anything's possible now.....especially if they can get at least 2 repaints. Hope the Q-Rau see the light of day....a TV version preferably.

So VF-1D VR websclusive right? And how about a Tenjin illustration teasing a Zentran soldier? I'd be ok with an HM-R Zentran soldier!

Lots of his Macross work can be found within the pages of these books if anyone is interested.... https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1041875743&ref=list https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1086799869&ref=list https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1026967005&ref=list

Nice....have you put any together to see how they scale to an actual HM/HMR? Would like to see one of the YF-19 kits standing next to an HM -19kai
  17. To all owners of the Hikaru VF-1 cockpit.... I knew this was going to be an epic longshot request....but didn't realize that it would be due to folks discarding them.. Anyway....I am trying to see if there is anyone who purchased their VF-1 cockpit and still has all of the original shipping materials, boxes, styrofoam, etc.....AND plans on discarding it or would be open to selling it... If so, please PM me.... It would seem I am already late with this request as I have reached out to some of you....but if there is someone out there that can help me....please reach out to me asap... Thanks!!

Bandai needs to release the Tomahawk and Phalanx in 2019....enough of these waiting games.....we need some closure on the destroid line so we can more effectively pine for other Macross HMR releases we'll never get!!
  19. Yep......you're a Masami fan The Imai stuff is mostly Takani
  20. Yeah....1/2000 is nice but I'd prefer they go with 1/3000 for the final product...
  21. It would need to look as good as this one...otherwise don't bother Who knows....maybe KC can get it right somehow....currently it has so much that isn't.....and no additional updates so far....think they are deep into their 1/12 Macross figs and 1/72 Vf-1s at the moment....
  22. Still hanging onto the hope of a 1/3000 TV SDF-1......it's one of the only Macross mechs Bandai seems to be skating around in terms of scale....but in reality, at this point I think I actually would prefer a 1/3000 Bandai version
  23. Seems this one went pretty high as well....44,90 JPY https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g308245498
  24. So you prefer the Masami over the Takani boxart illustrations? Most people seem to prefer the Takani stuff. Old school never gets old!
  25. It's definitely trying to emulate the blockiness style of the old Kaida Macross boxart and illustrations from the mid-80's....it's going to need to do more than stir up nostalgia....hope it comes through....
