That probably would be it.....Bandai has yet to provide decals though...it's all about the tampo and they certainly excel at it.....of course, then they would need to provide two different pilot types (already proven that it can be done with the Armored Valkyrie) and two different hand types along with the TV/DYRL head units...but what about the cockpit layout? I personally would rather have separate releases than some hybrid.... I think they will do two releases for the DYRL and TV VF-1A CF...a general and a TWE.....the question is which one gets the store and which one gets the TWE?

They have gone tampo crazy....that actually would be the only thing keeping a head swap doable....they may say the heck with it and include swappable heads, but some fans may not like it if they go with a DYRL markings valk or vice versa....

They are fairly easy to find on eBay and YJA.... The pricing is high on eBay but sometime you can find deals....your best bet might be trying to source one from YJA, Mandarake, or one of the Japanese retailers that handle used toys....like Jungle... The differences between the TV and DYRL versions are the head units, the hands, the cockpit canopy, the instrumentation layout, and possibly the colors....but it is debatable, more of a marketing thing to try and sell more toys, although now with Bandai, they can probably release a TV and DYRL in the exact same color, but mark it up with tampo specific to the shows...

Yeah...I am pretty sure they will release a stand-alone DYRL GBP set.....but what if they go nuts and release a DYRL Armored Valkyrie VF-1J....the one we see in the movie with movie specific markings for the VF-1J and a DYRL pilot in "Hikaru" TV colors like they did with the HMR release of the DYRL Armored Valkyrie....if that were to happen I would hope it would be a TWE

Yes, there was a DYRL version that Yamato released of a VF-1A in 1/48

But with all the DYRL specific tampo....Bandai would not pass up on fleecing their customers with TV and DYRL versions....lol

Hope the majority that wanted one were able to snag at least one.... Personally, this had to have been the worst of recent PO Madness Nights if not among the worst....the BW/HG deal clearly has not had a positive effect yet...if ever... Never had I seen PO Madness bring Anime Export's ordering system to it's knees to the point that they had to issue refunds to customers that thought their order was confirmed... Anyway....at least one positive came out of this.... WE HAVE REMOVED 13 PAGES FROM THE DEDICATED DX GBP THREAD!!!! And counting.... A big thanks for everyone who participated and kept things orderly....I have no doubt that this "experiment" will get better over time and that we can continue with the next dedicated toy thread.... IIRC....the VF-1J Hikaru and VF-1S Hikaru were both available for US shipping directly from AJ.....I was able to buy the VF-1J via AJ and I missed out on the VF-1S Hikaru because I had forgotten that I had changed my password and fumbled at the checkout.... Made sure all of my passwords were working ahead of time for this PO Night.....lol

Yes, but I should have been more specific...as in available to ship outside Japan directly from Amazon.jp.... As stated by @leeboo1211...I do know it was available via AJ, but it was sold from vendors and processed by Amazon...at least those shipped to the US

What was the last DX Macross item offered via Amazon.jp? Don't recall if the Roy-1S made the cut....not holding out hope for this release to be made available via AJ...but crossing fingers! Maybe the HG/BW deal made it even less likely now...

Most of the time, members will list the links to the PO's as they become available....some get posted early and do not become active until 16:00 JST...others get posted at 16:00 JST or later throughout PO night.....if all goes as usual, active and contributing members can participate, as usual, and just post up the links to the POs on this thread throughout the night...I assume these links get posted once the poster has acquired their PO on that site, which is understandable....but if you have already acquired the amount of POs you wanted, you can, if you wish, participate by posting up PO links to other sites as they become available....as has been duly noted by some members...it isn't all about "take"....you should also "give" back to this community when you can and PO Nights is a great time to be able to make a contribution to this site...a single link to a PO can be way more valuable to a member than almost any other kind of post....Good Luck to All!
