  1. it is very simple..... If you are referring to a PO you just placed or anything related to "where to buy one"..."when to buy one"..."how to buy one"..."I just bought one"....then please use the PO Madness thread.... If you want to discuss the details or your opinions on GBP or any specific toy.....please use the toy's dedicated thread.....
  2. Ah yes...the elusive Macross the Musicalture......you just can't find a single piece of video from that show...at least the last time I did a deep dive into the web for it...lol http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/topic/29133-macross-books/?do=findComment&comment=1257212
  3. Yes...I was surprised that of all the recent concerts, the Healthy Wings Orchestra concert never received a BD release...instabuy!
  4. This is an excellent idea......maybe lock it down some hours before 16:00 JST on the PO day? Don't want to have @Shawn or some mod doing this when they need to be concentrating on getting their own PO's in! Then re-open it the next day or a few days later once the PO chatter has more or less dwindled? I think this was the oddball PO scenario, where we are getting two highly desired PO's...one a TWE and one that is historically the type of PO that generates the countless of pages of "PO chatter".....the "general release" PO
  5. Placed the PO link to the first page...thanks!
  6. So looking at the PO Night thread...it seems it went from 1 to 5 pages since the news about the GBP PO broke 2 days ago....that is 4 full pages that would have went into the dedicated GBP page of mostly PO chatter and posts related to "where can I get one?", "how can I get one?", "I got one!", etc..... So the point of creating a dedicated PO thread was to remove those pages full of PO related chatter out of the dedicated toy threads.....that has been accomplished by removing 4 entire pages worth...and counting! The true PO Madness Night has yet to come.....those nights usually generate way more chatter and pages full of such chatter for days after..... It is obviously too early to say this did not work, by anyone other than those not wanting it to work....the early data suggests that it definitely did work by accomplishing what it was designed to do...removing as much PO chatter as possible from the dedicated toy thread...remember this is the first attempt at this so not everyone knows about this, especially new members or lurkers....but with the support of the site owner @Shawn and hopefully from his mod team....this will continue to work going forward and get much better and smoother as the PO's keep coming....
  7. LOL....it is not failing and you have not called anything other than your true intentions from the start, how did that play out for you? ....if you notice...the folks who are confused are the NEWBIES.....we simply explain to them the situation and they get a pass...a long time member like you does not get a pass and I am happy to see that you bent the knee and complied.....I would be weary of trying to derail it any further as you have seen that @Shawn actually went out of his way to step in to clarify what the intent is for both threads..... So a warning to you and anyone else who would like to derail either thread....you do not want to risk a "time-out" just in time for the REAL PO MADNESS NIGHT...
  8. Or BW can just reboot SDFM with new Mikimoto/Kawamori designs for the "41" characters and mecha....and it won't matter what HG does with the original 41 designs....
  9. The fact that the SDFM and DYRL logos are missing from the official BigWest Macross twitter site says all I need to know about the HG/BW deal....
  10. The Yamato VF-1A Cavaliers is somewhat HTF....it only had one run and it was not a "must get" valk at the time of release.....it's appreciation in value came later once Yamato went out of business and "The Panic" set in.....it has never had a re-release from Arcadia and likely will never have one....with that said, it's value and desireability/collectibility has more or less peaked.... I have no links to recent auctions sales from YJA...Mandarake is not a great measure for the market price for the majority of Macross collectibles, but they do have one that they sold recently.... https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1159971929&ref=list&keyword=マクロス VF-1A&lang=en With that said, If you wanted to acquire one I am fairly confident that you would be paying about 300-400 USD for one plus international shipping (which currenty is pretty high).....I would say 470 USD shipped is pretty close to market price.....keep in mind that condition also affects the final value of anything...is it new, used, displayed, transformed? Is it missing any parts or packaging materials....what is the condition of the box? In the end, the price will also be determined by how much you are willing to pay for it and how much the seller is willing to accept to part with it....never hurst to ask for a better price or make a reasonable counteroffer....good luck!
  11. ...they have screwed over enough members here.......order from them at your own risk Macross World!
  12. LOL.... I have personally never used any of them.... I am still more concerned with the general release items....at 33,000 JPY for the combo....perhaps the frenzy will not be as bad?
  13. Unfortunately, there are very few sites that carry Tamashii Web Exclusive items.....thus the need to try and source a proxy when the option to order via one of the sites is no longer available
  14. Can no longer access the ordering page...it was working fine this morning....who is "bending the knee" again? https://p-bandai.jp/item/item-1000156477/
  15. Essentially pick a proxy service (you can research them via Google) and follow their guidelines...all of them will generally have an intro page on how to use their services...for example... https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/sp/introduction/en/ https://zenmarket.jp/en/ https://neokyo.com/en ...to name a few..... This is not the correct thread to go into full detail on how to use a proxy....this will be for posting links to POs and the chatter that will be generated on PO night and during POs in general.... I am sure there must be an existing thread on proxies...do a search...or as I suggested, you best bet is to research using Google
  16. Well, knowing Bandai's track record, they have no reason to pack any DYRL parts into a TV set if they choose not to....they most likely will do the bigger DYRL type hands for a potential DYRL GBP release in the future.........you know the current GBP sets are SDFM TV editions, right? One of the drawbacks of all the tampo is that it is much easier to distinguish between TV and DYRL releases due to the specific markings....the current GBP set shows that the GBP is stationed on the Prometheus....a potential DYRL GBP will probably modify that specific tampo marking and substitute it with ARMD-01 or -02
  17. Huh? I am not suggesting that the sequel be produced by anyone other than BW and the original creative staff.....we all know how ROBOTECH sequels have worked out...but I am quite surprised at how little faith you and other have in the original MACROSS creators being able to come up with something decent....but then again, these are the same folks that gave us everything else after 1987....
  18. I guess you are entitled to your opinion, even if it is wrong. A sequel can have nothing to do with undoing resolutions of previous shows.....it can just be a new story based on characters that actually mean something to fans.....they did that with M7 by including the Jenius family, they did not get a happy ending? A happy ending is not possible with a direct sequel of the events of FB2012? Seriously? Apparently if you were in charge of the writing I suppose. It is amusing all the debbie downers that show up the moment someone posts any suggestions of a continuation of the series using the main characters of SDFM.
  19. I'm half-way expecting the news that BW, Kawamori, Mikimoto, and Mikatake are coming together again to bring us a sequel series to FB2012 for global release.....the internet would explode....
  20. Imagine a world of fans seeing Flashback 2012 for the first time ever.....how could they not want to know what happens to these beloved SDFM characters next?.... But, no.....the next thing they will get from Big West will be these guys..... Welcome to Macross post-SDFM/DYRL/FB2012...... Just wait to you get to see the dancing VFs!!!
  21. Sorry...but HG/BW are still stuck on the licensing for any "Macross" cutlery......
  22. Thanks...added to the front page list of retailers that are selling it
