  1. I noticed your Gerwalk is standing almost completely level. Is it very stable in that pose, like leaving it for a day you wouldn't come back and find it had nose-dived? And if so, the ankles don't become a floppy mess after pushing them back that far? Are both the thigh and knee joints all the way forward?
  2. Damn, talk about tight tolerances.
  3. I would buy the HELL out of that Blue one. I am curious if something is blocking the locking mechanism. It also appears things aren't locked down further along the neck. Could something back there be out of alignment? Could somebody who has their 19 help out pipedream with pics, etc? I hope he doesn't have a problem with his.
  4. F**cking LA Customs, this is the fifth day it's been sitting there.
  5. I would like a redesigned Fold Booster as well. I don't feel like the color or shape of the old booster really matches this new YF-19 very well.
  6. After looking at more pics it seems to me the diecast parts are still color-matched to the older shade of tan originally shown but it looks like they were never updated to match the newer, lighter color. What kind of decaling are you planning to do?
  7. Press the black triangle to get it all started, drop the nose cone a bit, pull the canopy fully open, then push the nose cone back up. The black triangle will still have to remain depressed however.
  8. The only way to fully open the cockpit is to drop the nose cone downward.
  9. You keep assuming my issue is it can't point it's nose towards the ground, that isn't the case. As a matter of fact it's so forward-heavy it'll do that no matter what.
  10. Hmm, I don't really understand what this is a photo of honestly.
  11. So it's just a happy coincidence. Bummer. Still pretty cool looking.
  12. That's what I'm waiting to hear about. And there's also the issue of the shoulder parts as well.
  13. Ah, so the Bandai packs officially fit? What about the shoulder parts? Can the shoulder missile parts peg into the holes on the shoulders of the YF-19 as well? I was totally planning on trying this with my Bandai parts when mine came in (albeit with the RVF Packs because that's all I own.) I was thinking, looking at the screens from the movie, that the 25A parts would be a pretty close match for the 19. That's also way cooler looking then the actual animation imo. Man, going back and looking at that again it is WAY WAY cooler looking then I thought it would ever be. I almost want a second YF-19 so I can keep one clean and another with the Frontier packs.
  14. All it would have taken was a small block at the base of the joint that could fold forward and back just like on the Bandai Valks. The Ankles would be perfect then.
  15. The angled gunpod is a design flaw. All of the VF-19's have it too.
  16. Looks like customs in LA is taking their typical sweet-ass time as well.
  17. On the old VF-19 releases if you pushed the ankles back too far they would forever be a floppy mess that would no longer hold either Gerwalk or Battroid. Technically this was a problem on the VF-17 as well but it's far more balanced in Gerwalk so stressing the ankles too far one direction or another wasn't really a problem. The VF, and now the YF-19, are all EXTREMELY forward heavy in Gerwalk.
  18. Boy, look at all of those box art pics with that clearly advertised, grey gunpod. Does the gunpod collapse for storage the same way as the 19S/F/P in fighter mode?
  19. That officially means the VF-4 is the best Macross toy by Yamcadia then.
  20. Where did you find your Fold Booster?
  21. How do the Fast packs attach anyway?
  22. I was afraid of both of these things when we found out what the wing gimmick was to accommodate high speed mode.
  23. But the missiles look cool and you can choose to leave them on or off if you like. The Grey lines aren't necessary, break up the flow of the design, and wouldn't be remove-able to anyone who doesn't like it (not without a ton of effort and potential damage.) Looking over other photos people have taken of this thing I noticed in one other pic a minor blemish on that right side but it isn't nearly as big as that first paint scratch pic. It looks like you might be able to avoid that damage if you transform the toy in a particular way but we might need to come up with our own solution to fix it unfortunately.
  24. Now we all know, don't tilt the cockpit section all the way back when transforming. Sucks to be that guy who first found out but we're benefiting from seeing these pics. Also something I imagine really tricky to debug for the guys who designed this thing. They know exactly how they intended to transform it and probably didn't even consider if the angle were slightly different would it cause friction like that.
  25. The VF-19 didn't have that, why would this one?
