Except I pointed out those indents were there back when we originally were discussing the Frontier-style Fast packs months ago. They're on the top and bottom of the wing roots.

I don't recall that. I only recall people didn't like the shade of tan used and they were going to fix that. I didn't realize it meant completely changing the color of the gun pod.

But while everyone complained that the color of the plane/canopy/etc were all not accurate they decided to change the color of the gunpod to be not accurate. I see what you did there Kanedas... it wasn't advertised as having a grey gunpod when the tan one looked excellent.

You're right, they changed the gunpod to grey. That sucks too.

They really lightened up that canopy. What a bummer. It looked so much better with that highly tinted one.

There were official photos that show the missiles mounted on the VF-1. Short answer, yes.

Dunno. Was listed as being the same month as the SDF-1 book but that's obviously not true now. I'd be surprised if they released two Macross books that close together. -
I wonder how long it will be before somebody in Japan puts up a first review.

I got my invoice from Amiami at 3 am this morning. It says when they're open again they'll perform the processing. They aren't closed all weekend are they? I hadn't considered that Japan is already into tomorrow by now. They don't have a FedEx option so I had to go with EMS... dammit, I hate the postal service in this town too.

They never specified but given that the previous three Arcadia releases came with water slide decals it's a pretty good bet this will too.

I think what he means by this is not the actual fighter itself but the style of paint scheme on the 25's. They do have a lot of silly swooshes/etc... like a pair of sports shoes. ChaoticYeti's idea isn't bad really. For my money either the story of the very first colonized planet (which would satisfy people who want to be planet-side plus use older mecha) or some sort of space civil-war (which has been hinted at in Frontier) would both be interesting if done right.

In the original comics the characters were mutants but the ooze was actually a substance created by Aliens. So kinda both there. This could borrow a little bit from that as well. This white scientist guy being shredder makes no damn sense. And why are they so f**king tall?
