    On Conan just a year or so ago he said he had done some voice over work for several Animes but he couldn't remember the names. If you had him sign something that looked vaguely Japanese at the very least he'd realize it was from one of his older voice-over gigs even if he didn't remember Isamu or Macross specifically.

    I speculated the only reason why we'd ever seen Bandai making all of these additional paint schemes is they've already paid for the molds so there's little risk in attempting new paint schemes. Actually, at this point there's probably more risk in re-issues as a new scheme has the charm of being new and anyone may want one. A re-issue is only going to be sought out by those few who didn't manage to get one the first time and that market is going to be smaller.

    Damn, I wish I had known about the 19S being $109. I would have jumped at that price even though I already have one.

    Hey guys, I noticed nobody really discussed Mr. K's YF-19 transformation instructions. Did anybody watch him? Did anybody notice any differences in the ankles?

    All that tells me is that it needs to be remade NOW, because it looks awesome.

    I'm not sure if the chest portion will fit on the VF-1D's (Trainer and Virgin Road versions), VE-1 or VT-1 simply because the nose cone/chest piece are shaped different to accommodate the two seats. Other wise it should fit every single Yamato V.2 and now the three Arcadia releases (30th Anniversary VF-1J, DYRL Roy 1S and DYRL Hikaru 1S.)

    Thanks for the comment, it looked like that larger bug was moving things around on the deck of one of the Carriers in space but context was lost. I am curious what the text on pages 04 and 05 are about given the rather ominous photo. If you look in the background there are a LOT of wrecked VF-1's in the background. Given the effort to make these photos look realistic it makes the situation seem a lot more ominous. It gives you more of an idea how desperate they were and why they would start recruiting kids Hikaru's age if that many pilots/fighters are being taken out each skirmish.

    My biggest issue is that lots of us have been clamoring for a SDFM version of the SDF-1. Instead this give us this overpriced, mini-DYRL nobody asked for. Charge me $500 for a web-exclusive if they have to. It was my favorite thing from the original TV series, bar-none, and I'm still waiting for one.

    I cannot wait to see this thing, not only is the model superb but your texture work is exceptional. It looks gorgeous. The best rendered rendition of the 21/22 I've ever seen.

    Not only is he reusing designs but he grafted over-sized missile packs from the 171 on to the sides of the Macross Quarter

    The transformation sliding the head out is exactly the same as the 25 and that's the part he can't grasp.

    My book showed up today. Pretty cool. I'm curious what the combat maneuver parts are all about. One looks like waves of fighters, the other looks to be describing some capitol ship deployment technique. The pics of the VF-1 with fuel tanks attached in a manner similar for the VF-0 is interesting too. I always thought having missile mounts like on the VF-0 (though they don't show that in this book) would have made a lot of sense for the VF-1 as well.

    The 29 transforms exactly the same way. Leave it in Fighter or Gerwalk and don't touch Battroid if you're having that much trouble figuring it out.

    By other 25 series Renewal versions what do you mean? There's already a relatively pricey F, an impossible to find S and G, a pretty cheap and available RVF and A model. There's a YF-25 Prophecy due to be released soon as well. We're speculating a "Leon" version from the Macross 30 video game is a likely candidate to come out at some point too though none of us knows for sure.

    Yeah, I mean CG photos. The picture of the cover make the SDF-1 look pretty spectacular, and it's the SDFM colors/design, so that makes me doubly happy. They only had a few SDF-1 pics in the first VF-1 Master File book and I don't recall the Prometheus or Daedalus attached in those photos really. The F-15J++? Why so many pics of that? Is there anything interesting in there you might do some translations of at some point? I don't know what a Rigaado is.

    I've never owned anything CM's. I always liked the way the Dark Legioss looked (especially the drone version) but the reviews always kept me away. I wonder if the physical toy market is falling out all over or only in Western countries?
