The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - Coming May 2, 2014
Mommar replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
This would be a good idea, they would actually KNOW how to make a decent Marvel movie, they've already made one of the best for Marvel.- 153 replies

Damn, well it was a good idea but notching it with an x-acto blade or razer hasn't made a dent. I'll have to see if I can track down some sort of rotary device.
-
I'll try this. Thanks for the idea.

This is a helluva example of putting all of your eggs in one basket. Also, why are all of these files just floating about in e-mails and not all in links to other secure servers on particular locked-down networks with special passwords for said networks? Have they not heard of layers for security purposes? All the hackers might've got then were a few bits and bobs of business info and some throw-away temporary passwords for all of the real data that *should* have been changed once read.

I'm with Duke, the original Trilogy doesn't need to be rebooted in any way. Having two Death Stars makes perfect sense from a modern spacecraft design standpoint anyway. Typically the first one is proof of concept and the second one is built on the lessons learned from the first in a more streamlined capacity, which is precisely what happened in the movies (this happens with lots of other engineering projects as well.) Besides, why not have the ability to blow up two different planets at the some time rather than just one?

If I had a dremel that might actually work... I think enough of the screw is poking out to do it. Hmm, none of my various pairs of pliers have been able to grip it. It really is only a few millimeters poking out.
-
Okay, it took me a bit of time so hopefully somebody will still come back here to check and give me some ideas. The head of one of the screws sheared off in the hip joint so it won't completely hold together, the bigger issue is that I can't dig the bit of left over screw from out of the hole. On the plus side this part of the hip/intake is actually all diecast so there's a bit more resilience than if it were stuck in plastic. I took two pics, the first from the side with the bit of nub sticking out, it's only millimeters really, not enough to grip it with anything I have handy. The second is from the top just for a different vantage point. Does anybody have an tips/ideas how to dig this bit of screw out? Does anybody know the size of screws for a replacement too? Thanks.

I don't own a V1 so I can't comment on any part of that, I will say concerning the "weight" comment that I don't necessarily equate weight with something feeling quality. I honestly like how the V2 VF-1 and VF-11 feel so light, really. They're easier for me to pick up and flip around versus some of the heavier toys in the collection.

Is that a Tornado or just a really large dust-devil?

Man, months ago I was given the scripts/etc to try to figure out how to put all of those models back together and I just didn't have the time to help out.

So we get to suffer through a movie that reinforces Men are stupid?

$150 is a good price. I'm almost tempted for a third.

Worst Science Fiction Film of All Time II: The Quickening

Seriously, this didn't need to be more than five seconds long. Uwe Boll is what's wrong with it. As is every other piece of garbage he's ever crapped out.- 854 replies

How else are you going to get the things you want then? If it's niche, more money. If it has better transformation gimmicks, more money. If it was a lesser product it wouldn't be as desireable. That's a rock and a hard place, but you're blaming them for being the rock and not selling you the hard place for half that price. If this were released a bit further out from the 0D I'd be more likely to take the plunge, personally. It's a bad release time IMO.
