Yeah, we already know he was the Science Officer and second in command under Captain Pike for two full five year missions prior to Kirk taking over and there was another Captain of the Enterprise prior to Captain Pike. Not that Spock was necessarily on The Enterprise prior to that but it's pretty clear he was already well established having a Star Fleet Career long before he ever served with Kirk. As a matter if fact I believe Spock was given his post under Pike specifically because he was so well regarded from his previous roles.

Tony straight up takes the suit away in the film. There's enough in all of the trailers to figure that out. The friend is based off of Miles Morales friend Ganke in the Ultimate Comics. The hoodie isn't a late addition either, it's clearly there in the Civil War footage.- 266 replies

He's referring to the fact that if you inverted the colors it would be Peter's clone, Ben Reilly, from the Clone saga in the 90's. However, that wasn't what killed Marvel, that was only a small part of what did them in. It's an homage, that's all.- 266 replies

Damn, that looks great! I had a tinge of pain pre-ordering this simply because I don't need something else to collect but I'm happy I jumped on it now. But now I'm thinking SHF can't get away with plastic capes anymore.

The Wolverine FILMS (X-Men Universe)

I'm going to stick with the higher price at BBTS. I can get it shipped for $6 via FedEx and even though the figure is cheaper at those other websites it really doesn't save me much after shipping. -
Wow, they actually fit on the YF-30 too? I never even thought to try that. Too bad there aren't pics in the other modes. I suspect it's because they only fit in Battroid.

I don't think it needed more than the first movie... Isn't Billy Connolly ill or something too? I'm not sure he can show up for anything anymore.

Voyager was definitely a let-down as JB0 said, because they tossed the premise out by the second episode and other than Belana being an angry pain in the ass there was zero of the Federation+Terrorists story in the rest of the series. I honestly never thought they could pull it off in Star Trek so the fact they dropped it didn't really bother me. Enterprise had a much easier premise and they screwed that one up right out of the gate. Time travel was a completely stupid waste of time and didn't need to be there at all. And they couldn't be bothered to be consistent with other Trek lore at all. Jolene Blalock used to complain they couldn't get basic facts about Vulcans right and fought with writers/directors about it all the time.

This has been a common thing people on the internet have been saying and I disagree, the Orville trailer looked painfully stupid and aside from Animated shows Seth MacFarlane has HORRIBLE comedic timing. I think people want to hate Discovery so much they're overlooking the fact that nothing in the Orville trailer was funny at all.

Alien: Covenant (formerly known as Prometheus 2)
Mommar replied to taksraven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Since I know I'll never have time to go see it I figured I'd just listen to a synopsis of the plot with all of the spoilers. Sounds like the devil is in the details as a rundown of what happens actually sounds like a good idea. Seems the actual events are stitched together in some pretty weak/flimsy ways though. There's no Lindeloff to blame on this one either.- 352 replies

I'll give the pilot a shot and see. It's a mixed bag. The Shenzou looks pretty good to me. Looks like it follows on from the aesthetic established in Enterprise. I wouldn't be surprised if that ship is considered pretty old by the standards of the day and that's why it still has the rough look. Or they're just changing the aesthetic because they can, I would be less happy with that. Interesting detail, they use the little lines in the transporter effect like in Star Trek VI. Very cinematic in shooting style, and the special effects are pretty top notch. This doesn't look like a television series at all.

Here's the thing, your item isn't actually damaged. The actual figure the accessories are fine. I really can't see any company going to any length to replace a plastic box insert.
