  1. Nice to see those old kits still getting love. Also, nice to see you around here; weren't you also on Hobbyfanatics? I think I remember enjoying your hobby event reports back then.
  2. Apparently, Magneto has been working on reviving Breakbeat... Seriously, I can't wait to see the movie.
  3. Added the rest of the PE and sensors and other protuding stuff. I love the scifi angles on that thing. And black base layer:
  4. @Rock is that the Wing you've been working at for 10+ years? Looks like your effort paind off, and it must feel great to put this on the shelf finally.
  5. Made a new glass part for the upside down HUD and added bits to the ceiling
  6. Snyder's trailer is all over the place. It only could be worse if it were AI generated IMO. On today's plus side, we have more glimpses of The Creator:
  7. There was a VTOL MiG-23 prototype tested before they settled for the swing wings.
  8. @derex3592 It's hard to judge how much of the white mottling is left; have you tried applying the tan directly on the dark primer?
  9. @Thom Awesome detail work, can't wait to see further progress. _ Finished my heli crew today; since they rarely fly with oxygen masks (they do, though) I had to perform facial surgery on my Hase clones, hoping that the painting would make up for my "viking with a chainsaw" sculpting skills.
  10. Heavy resin hacking action while I try to fit my Hasegawa clones into the WZ-10
  11. Apparently, it's Patlabor Day! HMAGARAGE is back with an update on their 1/72 Eagle Kai.
  12. @MechTech@wm cheng@derex3592 Thanks for the flowers! Here's a pic of the machine that inspired me to do this scheme: I did not replicate the paintovers where they apparently used what was available... After seeing my meticulously applied pre-shading work disappear under the color coat in the past, I simplified my process in that I start with a uniform dark grey (faster to cover than pure black) and then apply the camo colors, loosely staying away from the panel lines. Color separations where masked with blu tac, which I find more relaxing than freehand painting. I only mask one area at a time, since the kit is easier to handle that way. To keep an in-scale appearance, only a few selected panel lines or recesses where accentuated with thinned black Gouache. - The helicopter is the 1/48 WZ-10.
  13. The reactive armor gang is next in Kaiyodo's ARTPLA line.
  14. There's also dalong.net, but I don't know how comprehensive that is.
  15. Supertweet! Still need to attach a stand and some antennas, but working with PE has deteriorated my mental health a bit, so maybe later...
  16. Did you see Prime's "Dead Ringers"? It has 2 Rachel Weisz. Be warned of the body horror, though...
